Former French Prime Minister Defeated By Macron Handed 5-Year Jail Term In "Fake Jobs" Verdict

More than two years after conceding defeat to Emmanuel Macron during the preliminary rounds of France's last presidential vote, which saw Macron emerge victorious at the head of his reformist "En Marche" movement, which quickly fizzled as the French people turned on the country's youngest leader since Napoleon, former French PM Francois Fillon has been sentenced to five years (with three suspended) for doling out 'fake' government jobs to his wife and children.

News of the investigation first emerged during the early months of the campaign, and quickly cost Fillon his status as frontrunner in the national polls. In March, Fillon defiantly vowed to stay in the race despite facing criminal charges. Now that the sensitive case has meandered through the French justice system, Fillon - a conservative, and once one of the most powerful men in the country - will spend a full two years behind bars (though he'll likely be released early on good behavior). His wife Penelope was also convicted, and handed a 3-year suspended sentence. Both will pay heavy fines that together equal roughly 3/4ths of the money the family received from the "fake job" wages.

According to Sputnik, the charges stem from an investigation by French satirical weekly Le Canard enchaine, which claimed in early 2017 that Penelope Fillon had been employed as her husband’s parliamentary assistant between 1988-1990, 1998-2002, 2012-13, then was later employed by Marc Joulaud from 2002 to 2007. Joulaud also faced charges and a fine in connection with the case.

Two of Fillon's children, Charles and Marie Fillon, were allegedly employed from 2005 to 2007 as assistants to their father, then a French senator in Paris.

Though Fillon and his wife have insisted that all the work was legal, prosecutors and reporters claimed that the jobs were "fake" - ie that Penelope and the kids were paid essentially for doing no actual work. Apparently, a jury was convinced enough to agree.

Fillon and his wife said they will be appealing the charges.

All four men face multiple voting fraud charges. In addition to Jackson and Mendez, 51-year-old Shelim Khalique — the brother of Paterson councilman Shahin Khalique — and Abu Razyen, 21, were charged with vote-fraud counts.

“Today’s charges send a clear message: if you try to tamper with an election in New Jersey, we will find you and we will hold you accountable,” said Attorney General Grewal on Thursday. “We will not allow a small number of criminals to undermine the public’s confidence in our democratic process.”

The Board of Elections previously said about 800 votes would be set aside and not counted, amid charges they were found improperly bundled in mailboxes in Paterson as well as at a drop box in nearby Haledon.

Jackson is accused of approaching voters in his district and collecting their mail-in ballots to deliver to the city’s Board of Elections himself, a violation of state election laws. The councilman allegedly had more than three ballots on him, none of which were his, and also received a voter’s ballot without it having been filled out or sealed. It was then handed over to the elections board sealed, the attorney general said in the charges.

“Jackson is a public servant and has a distinct record of public service for many years,” Jackson’s attorney, Theodrore Kyles, said.

This was just another voter fraud scam committed by Democrats. This is what they do. They rig elections. It’s really the only way they can win.

India Bans 59 Chinese Apps Including TikTok Over "Privacy & Sovereignty" Violations

Despite a round three of border deescalation talks between Indian and Chinese military delegations scheduled for Tuesday, there's yet more significant fallout following the June 15 border clash which left 20 Indian troops dead, also with an unknown number of PLA casualties.

India is moving to ban up to 59 Chinese apps in the country, including massively popular TikTok, as the military standoff gives way to a tsunami of economic consequences.

The government of India announced the apps are being blocked "in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, security of state and public order."

It also follows international reports of significant allegations that Chinese firms are compromising user privacy, such as stealth installation of spyware or malware, and tracking users without their knowledge.

India's Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology coordinated with the country's Cyber Crime Coordination Center and the Ministry of Home Affairs in declaring that the China-made apps remain a "security of data and risk to privacy".

This also includes other massively popular brands in the country like Weibo, WeChat, and We Meet. India's over one billion people, most of them young, will now be cut off from these internationally popular apps (it's commonly estimated that up to 50% of the population is under 25).

Interpol says it can't act on Iran's request to arrest Trump for ordering the killing of General Soleimani

Interpol's own rules would not allow it to act on an Iranian request to arrest US President Donald Trump for the murder of Qassem Soleimani, the international police cooperation body said.

Tehran on Monday announced it will seek the arrest of 36 people in connection with the US assassination of General Soleimani in January. A request for assistance will be sent to Interpol, Tehran's chief prosecutor said, adding that President Trump tops the list of suspects.

The Lyon-based organization told RIA Novosti if it receives a request to arrest Trump, its own rules will not allow it to act on it. Interpol acts as a liaison between law enforcement organizations in member states, helping them to collaborate with each other in solving crimes and arresting suspects trying to flee justice in a different jurisdiction.

Interpol maintains political neutrality and is barred by its charter from getting involved in activities of a political, military, religious, or racial nature, a spokesperson for the organization said.

Soleimani, the commander of the elite Quds Force, was killed in a US airstrike when he was visiting Iraq. Washington said the killing was justified by the general's planning of attacks against American soldiers. Tehran considers it an act of state terrorism.

Houston Hospital Boss Shatters Media's COVID Fearmongering: "Only About 3 Or 4 More People In ICU"

Headlines like "Houston facing ‘apocalyptic’ July 4" sparked fear and panic across most of America's media over the weekend as talk of max'd out ICUs and soaring case-numbers dominated every pixel (with very few able to see any link to this resurgence in cases and the riots and protests that began to take place a few weeks ago).

As per usual in this highly politicized world, another leading voice has emerged to clarify that this heightened state of alarm was all for naught, since Houston actually has the situation in its hospitals well in hand.

Boom reiterated his comments from last week that the number of hospitalizations are "being misinterpreted, and, quite frankly, we’re concerned that there is a level of alarm in the community that is unwarranted right now."

"We do have the capacity to care for many more patients, and have lots of fluidity and ability to manage," Boom said.

He pointed out that his hospital one year ago was at 95% ICU capacity, similar to the numbers the hospital is seeing today.

"It is completely normal for us to have ICU capacities that run in the 80s and 90s," he said.

"That's how all hospitals operate."

One twitter user @LWinthorpe noted that the CEO of another one of Houston's main hospitals has issued a statement pushing back against the "unnecessarily alarm[ing]" reporting on ICU capacity in the state.

"The TMC issued a serious statement about ICU capacity that unnecessarily alarmed our community, making it inaccurately appear that hospitals are in an imminent ICU capacity crisis. The letter was released prematurely Wednesday and it had unintended consequences.

What was intended to alert the community to the critical need to change behaviors, actually panicked the community.

Capacity is often misunderstood by media and the public and it was clear that we needed to correct the misunderstanding to best serve the public.”

Microsoft’s code service GitHub goes down, leaves developers wondering where their coding went

The software development platform, used by developers the world over, was down for hours, with thousands of users unable to log on.

Git is a ‘version control’ service that allows developers to test out different versions of software.

The hub aspect of GitHub refers to the fact that it is used by developers to host and collaborate on coding projects.

GitHub also hosts a lot of code related to projects both from private individuals and the Big Tech companies. Google for example has published entire projects such as its open-source system Kubernetes.

GitHub is home to more than 100 million code repositories and has over 40 million developers interacting with its service. In an incident report, GitHub stated that it had “identified the source of elevated errors and are working on recovery.”

Users were quick to take to Twitter to let their thoughts be known, with some speculating that it may have disappeared entirely.

In 2018, Microsoft acquired the code repository service for $7.5 billion. In a move to democratize the service, Microsoft last year provided private users with the ability to access the service for free, a feature previously available to only paying customers.

VIDEO Activists set up guillotine outside Jeff Bezos' home, call for end to Amazon

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was targeted on Sunday by activists, who set up a guillotine outside his Washington DC home and called for an end to the “exploitation” of the company’s employees.

In front of the guillotine was a sign reading: “Support our poor communities not our wealthy men.”

Footage from the scene shows demonstrators outside the residence saying: “It is still exploitation, and when they become threatened, and we have no voice, the knives come out.”

The protest appears to have been organized by a group called ‘Abolish the Present/Reconstruct the Future’, which has been critical of Amazon, tying the company to police surveillance and racism in a flyer promoting the event.

“Amazon works directly with police to surveil us, stoking racist fears in the name of profit,” the group states.

The group also takes issue with the firing of Chris Smalls, a former employee who was behind a work stoppage at one of the company’s warehouses in New York, protesting the lack of worker protections during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Amazon fired and racially slandered labor organizer Chris Smalls. Join us to tell Bezos enough is enough! END THE ABUSE AND PROFITEERING. ABOLISH THE POLICE, THE PRISONS, AND AMAZON,” the flyer continues.

Court Rules Horrific Abuse Video Inadmissible, Overturns Cop’s Child Sex Assault Conviction

Jeremy Yachik was a cop who brought his brutality home. His psychopathic behavior led to him being caught on video kicking and beating his 15 year old daughter for the crime of “eating carrots.” He was tried and convicted for abusing his daughter both physically and sexually — with the former being captured on video. However, thanks to a technicality, a court has overturned that conviction and he could soon be a free man.

As TFTP reported at the time, according to court records, the girl told Loveland police investigators that Yachik abused her almost daily for years. The abuse allegedly included restraining her hands with handcuffs or plastic zip ties and then slamming her head into a wall hard enough to leave a hole and choking her until she blacked out, according to a Loveland Police Department arrest affidavit.

The girl also said he beat her with ropes, restricted her food, shackled her in a darkened room for hours and force-fed her “ghost pepper sauce” that’s roughly 10 times hotter than habanero peppers, the affidavit said.

When asked why he was doing these things to his daughter he said that the teen “won’t communicate” with him, according to the affidavit.

Luckily his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Saint-Roberts, caught one of these abusive fits of aggression on video and turned it into police. However, when the allegations were first brought forward, the department tried to cover them up.

After showing the video to Glen Johnson, the Police Chief, Saint-Roberts said they failed to respond and she was forced to find another venue to expose this abuse.

Yachik even called Saint-Roberts and told her: “‘Nice try…trying to get me fired…it’s not going to work” according to the reports.

Yachik was originally charged with 4 counts of child abuse resulting in injury, and one count of false imprisonment, somehow all misdemeanor charges, according to police records. Despite the horrifying nature of the video, Yachik received a slap on the wrist and escaped jail, receiving just three years of probation.

After the slap on the wrist, the department was accused of covering for the abusive cop. It was then disbanded as a result.

Two years later, Yachik would then be charged again and found guilty again in 2016. This time for the sexual assault of the same girl. Those charged stemmed from two incidents in which Yachik sexually assaulted his own daughter when she was in the eighth and ninth grade, according to the evidence, which was apparently overwhelming.

He was sentenced to two consecutive 16-year terms in prison.

During the trial for the child sexual assault, prosecutors showed the video of the abuse to show the jury what kind of person Yachik was. This would be used by the defense as a way to overturn this abusive ex-cop’s sentence.

‘You cannot fight prejudice with prejudice’: UK Jewish group accuses ‘supposed anti-racist’ BLM of anti-Semitism

UK Jewish activists have lashed out at the British chapter of Black Lives Matter over its pro-Palestinian tweets. They say the anti-racist movement's criticism had anti-Semitic undertones.

BLM UK posted a series of tweets on Sunday, criticizing Israel over its plans to annex occupied Palestinian territories and calling for solidarity with the Palestinian cause. One of the earlier posts stated that “mainstream British politics is gagged of the right to critique Zionism, and Israel’s settler colonial pursuits”.

That particular part prompted a furious backlash from the British NGO Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA).

“Zionism is the movement for the self-determination of Jews,” CAA tweeted in response. “So-called ‘anti-Zionism’ exclusively denies Jews that universal right and is therefore anti-Semitic.”

“Educate yourselves. You cannot fight prejudice with prejudice,” it added.

BLM responded by posting a series of tweets rejecting the notion that criticizing Israeli policies towards Palestinians equated to anti-Semitism, insisting that “ours is a united fight against colonialism in all its forms. Justice is indivisible.”

CAA accused BLM of bigotry and said it was not the first time they have “had to contend with prejudice from supposed anti-racists.”

“No matter where the hatred comes from, we will always do whatever it takes to defend British Jews,” the group said.

Israel is currently trying to whip up international support for its plans to annex large parts of Palestinian territories as part of the US’ “vision for peace” initiative. The Palestinian Authority has strongly rejected the initiative, while many nations have said the move would seriously undermine the peace process. Some have even called for sanctions against Israel over the plans.

Judge’s Son Admits to 35 Counts of Trafficking Child Porn Involving Infants, Gets NO JAIL

Butler County, PA — In the land of the free, there are two sets of justice systems — one for all those connected to that system, and one for everyone else. Time after time, we’ve seen police officers and politicians alike accused of terrible crimes and they escape with little to no jail. As the following case illustrates, even family members of the connected class are extended this privilege and escape accountability for even the most heinous of crimes.

John Paul Doerr III, 34, pleaded guilty to exploiting children through possessing and distributing a massive amount of child pornography — some of which involved infants. He was facing upwards of 250 years in a cage for the whopping 45 felony counts against him.

However, Doerr happens to be the son of Butler County’s top judge, Thomas Doerr. So, instead of going to jail for the rest of his life, as he should have, Doerr will not go to jail at all. Instead this child predator was sentenced to five years probation, six months house arrest and 15 years on the Megan’s Law registry. According to the sentencing judge, Timothy Creany, the house arrest will be lifted if Doerr gets a job.

Naturally, this special privilege given to a child predator made people upset. As WPXI reported, dozens of people protested Doerr’s sentencing outside the Butler County Courthouse on Friday, saying they believe that father-son relationship had a lot to do with the lenient sentence.

“It’s not fair. He (could have) gotten 252 years behind bars, (but) instead he got probation and house arrest,” said Madison Morgan, a demonstrator. “It’s because of who his father is.”

According to the report:

Doerr was initially arrested after confessing that he downloaded multiple videos, including one with a child as young as 1-2 years old. Investigators tracked him down using the IP address assigned to his computer.

Butler County officials told Channel 11 there was no wrongdoing in the case. The district attorney said he immediately handed Doerr’s case over to the attorney general’s office and that no local judge heard the case.

Authorities brought in an outside judge and prosecutor. That prosecutor said this is a standard sentence, typical for these types of cases.

Though prosecutors claimed he received equal treatment under the law, protesters pointed out that at the time of his arrest, Doerr’s mugshot wasn’t even printed, which is standard for all arrests.

EU extends economic sanctions against Russia until January 31, 2021

The restrictions were introduced back in July 2014 over the situation in Ukraine and Crimea’s reunification with Russia

BRUSSELS, June 29. /TASS/. The European Union has extended sectoral economic sanctions against Russia imposed due to the situation in Ukraine for six months, until January 31, 2021, the European Council said in a statement on Monday.

"The Council today decided to renew the sanctions targeting specific economic sectors of the Russian Federation for a further six months, until 31 January 2021," the statement reads. EU leaders made the political decision to extend sanctions at the summit on June 17-18 in a videoconference format after a short discussion, during which they concluded that full implementation of the Minsk agreements has not yet been achieved.

The European Union imposed economic sanctions against 15 Russian companies with broad state participation in the oil, banking and defense sectors at the end of July 2014 over the situation in Ukraine and Crimea’s reunification with Russia. Restrictions have been repeatedly expanded and prolonged. In response, Moscow banned the import of a number of food products from EU countries.

Election official says multiple voting attempts overseas detected, vows crackdown

The databases on the polls abroad include about 250,000 people, according to official data

MOSCOW, June 29. /TASS/. Deputy Chairperson of the Russian Central Election Commission Nikolai Bulaev reported that attempts to vote multiple times at voting stations abroad during the nationwide vote on the constitutional amendments were intentional and deliberate, and all of them will be exposed.

"The first issue that we would like to clarify our position on, is the incidence of multiple voting abroad by the citizens who reported it. Ms. Ilyinskaya claimed to do so, she voted in Israel, and another gentleman whose name we don’t know yet, he voted in the UK," the official said at the Commission’s information center on Monday.

He recalled that the Russian legislation allows to cast a vote in person abroad. "This procedure is meant for conscientious people and not for criminal actions. In Israel we have a premeditated quadruple voting by a group of people. This is article 142 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the deputy chairman added.

He noted that "the state does not create a system which could be used by the state itself in order to distort the results of the vote." "But, as we can see, any system created has areas which enable breaches of the rules by committing a crime. Those who attempt to violate the law understand that they are committing a crime," stressed the official.

He noted that the databases on the polls abroad are not very large, there are about 250,000 people. "We collated multimillion lists before. We will have an opportunity to compare who decided to vote multiple times abroad and who of those used the remote electronic voting. All cases will be detected," the official promised.

About the vote

The nationwide vote to amend the Russian Constitution started on June 25 in all regions of Russia. The primary day to vote according to the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin is July 1, but Russians can also cast their ballots during the week of June 25-30.

This is done to curb the spread of the coronavirus infection.

According to the directive of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, the polls will be open from June 25 to July 1 from 8 am to 8 pm local time in all Russian regions, the vote count will take place after 8 pm local time on July 1 for all seven days of voting.

In addition to voting before the primary date (June 25-30), constituents can also cast ballots outside of polling stations (including outdoor areas), use contactless voting at home, or remote electronic voting in Moscow and the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well cast ballots at one’s place of residence using the Mobile Voter application.

WHO director: Pandemic 'speeding up'

Six months after the World Health Organization (WHO) first identified a cluster of atypical pneumonia cases at a hospital in Wuhan, China, the number of people newly infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus is rising rapidly.

More than 10 million people across the globe have tested positive for the coronavirus, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Monday, nearly 180,000 of whom tested positive in the last 24 hours.

Almost half a million people have died worldwide.

"The reality is this is not close to being over," Tedros told reporters. "Globally, the pandemic is actually speeding up."

About half the cases, and nearly half the deaths across the globe, have come in the Americas. The United States, which accounts for about 4 percent of the global population, has nearly a quarter of the total confirmed cases, 2.4 million.

States reported more than 44,000 new cases on Sunday, the WHO said in their daily situation report on Monday, higher than any nation on earth. Brazil reported 46,000 new infections on Saturday, and almost 39,000 new infections on Sunday.

Russia and India have both reported more than half a million cases, while the United Kingdom, Peru and Chile have each reported more than a quarter million cases.

The actual number of people who have been infected with the coronavirus is probably multiples higher than the numbers reported. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta said last week that samples taken from blood tests in the United States show as many as 25 million Americans might already have been infected, ten times the number of confirmed cases.

But Tedros cautioned that even with such prevalent spread, billions of people are still at risk of infection.

After Gantz says annexation can wait, Netanyahu snipes: ‘It’s not up to him’

Defense minister tells US officials coronavirus should take precedence over West Bank moves, but PM insists he is ‘not a factor’ in the debate

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said his coalition partners in the Blue and White party were “not a factor” in whether annexation of West Bank lands would go ahead as planned.

The prime minister was responding to Blue and White chief Benny Gantz, the defense minister, who said fighting the coronavirus pandemic and its economic fallout should take precedence over any political decisions regarding the West Bank.

“We are in talks with the US team here in Israel,” Netanyahu said at a Likud faction meeting in the Knesset. “We are doing it discreetly. The matter is not up to Blue and White, they are not a factor either way.”

As part of the unity coalition deal with Likud, Gantz also serves in the post of alternate prime minister. Though he is seen as reluctant to move forward with unilateral annexation, he has agreed to allow Netanyahu to advance such a plan after July 1 if he can secure a Knesset majority.

Earlier Monday, Gantz told top US diplomats involved in discussions with Israel about annexation that the July 1 start date for the controversial step should be pushed back, citing the coronavirus crisis.

“July 1 is not a sacred date,” Gantz told US Mideast envoy Avi Berkowitz, according to a source close to the defense minister. “Dealing with the coronavirus and its socioeconomic and health consequences is the more pressing issue that needs to be attended to right now.”

Pelosi, Schumer request US intelligence leaders brief Congress on reports of Russian bounties

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) requested Monday that two top U.S. intelligence leaders brief the House and Senate on news reports that Russians offered bounties to kill U.S. troops in Afghanistan last year.

In a letter to Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe and CIA Director Gina Haspel, Pelosi said, "Congress and the country need answers now."

The Speaker also pointed to denials from President Trump that he was briefed about the intelligence months ago and noted that the U.S. has not taken any action to respond to the Kremlin aggression and escalation.

"The Administration’s disturbing silence and inaction endanger the lives of our troops and our coalition partners," Pelosi said.

"The questions that arise are: was the President briefed, and if not, why not, and why was Congress not briefed … I therefore request an interagency brief for all House Members immediately," she wrote.

Later on Monday, Schumer issued a statement saying: “I am calling for the Directors of National Intelligence and the CIA to immediately brief all 100 Senators on reports that Russia placed bounties on US troops in Afghanistan. We need to know whether or not President Trump was told this information, and if so, when.”

During a television interview, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said a briefing would occur Monday, but she did not provide details regarding who would conduct the briefing and what members of Congress would attend.

“There will be a briefing today,” McEnany said on "Fox & Friends." “I think it will clear up a lot of the false reporting from The New York Times. The president has made clear that he’s never been briefed.”

The New York Times, citing U.S. intelligence officials, first reported Friday that a Russian military intelligence unit secretly sought to offer rewards to Taliban-linked militants to incentivize them to hunt and kill coalition forces in Afghanistan as the Trump administration engaged in peace talks to end the nearly 20-year war.

Trump and other intelligence officials on the National Security Council then discussed the matter in a meeting in late March, where they weighed a series of potential responses; however, no formal steps have been made, the Times reported.

Trump, however, in a late-night tweet Sunday claimed that the U.S. intelligence community deemed the information not credible.

His remarks went further than those of the White House.

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus is expected to cut thousands of jobs and reduce its production levels by 40 per cent in the next couple of years, union sources told Reuters.

The company, as well as its rival Boeing, has been severely damaged by the coronavirus outbreak, which has seen the delivery of new Airbus planes delayed and forced airlines to cancel tens of thousands of flights.

At the end of April, the European aerospace giant reported a first-quarter net loss of €481million while consolidated revenues fell by almost a sixth to €10.6billion from the first three months of 2019.

Union sources said that the company is expected set out its most extensive ever reorganisation plan on Wednesday, which may result in between 14,000 and 20,000 jobs being slashed.

One person familiar with Airbus told Reuters anything below 25,000 cuts could be seen as conservative in the light of output plans. Unions have warned against over-reaction, however.

Its helicopter and defence divisions, which manufacture some parts on behalf of the jetliner parent, will be among those affected.

Airbus's chief executive Guillaume Faury warned in April that the firm is 'bleeding cash at an unprecedented speed' and that this was putting the company's existence under severe threat.

A swarm of locusts is threatening to invade Brazil as the country also battles one of the world's worst coronavirus outbreaks.

The swarm - thought to contain 40million insects - formed in Paraguay last month and has been eating its way through Argentina since May 21, damaging crops of cane, oats, wheat and corn.

But nine days ago it made a turn to the east, and is now heading towards the border with Brazil and Uruguay.

It also comes after two other locust swarms - in India and eastern Africa - also devastated crops in those countries.

Two Brazilian states - Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina - have been put on alert for the arrival of the insects, which can move up to 93 miles in a day.

Experts say the arrival of cold weather and rain in recent days has slowed its progress, making the insects lethargic.

That has allowed environmental workers to fumigate, reducing its size.

However, the arrival of warm weather will wake the insects up - while winds could blow the swarm across the border.

The pests have raised concerns in Brazil.

A representative from the Aprosoja growers association in Rio Grande do Sul said they feared the locusts would enter the state where corn is still being harvested and wheat being grown.

Christian blogger and data CEO jailed for attempted rape of a child and sexual battery

48-year-old Kenneth Raetz was charged with aggravated sexual battery and attempted rape of a child when a 13-year-old girl testified to 10-15 occurrences of abuse beginning in May 2018 when she was 11 years old.

On June 25th, a juvenile victim told authorities that Kenneth Raetz had on multiple occasions violated her. According to affidavits, he would come to her bedroom a give her back massages and that it “got out of hand” when he began to “grope and fondle” her chest. She also explained that he would touch her groin area and that she would pretend to be asleep. When asked if she wanted him to stop, she told him yes, but continued the molestation anyway.

The victim testified that Kenneth Raetz made bare contact under both her underwear and brassiere. She explained that she would “hold her legs together” to avoid penetration but that he did attempt to do so. The girl was between 11 and 13 years of age during the abuse which began in May of 2018. The report states that Raetz “openly admitted” the actions via telephone with the Department of Child Services.

Kenneth Raetz was charged with aggravated sexual battery victim less than 13 and attempted rape of a child. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
