I have a ? for people that have been in the armed services.
I'm not researching anything prior to asking this, so cut me some slack.
You never hear about people entering the Armed Services later in life.
Maybe it's just me that hasn't heard about it, but it seems the target is to get em while they're young, then raise them in the Military as soon as they can make their own decisions legally.
What about people that resisted the opportunity to serve their country because they were stupid as a teenager, but grew up in their 20s or something and now regret it?
I'm not talking (necessarily) about going through basic training and becoming a soldier and growing through the ranks that way to physically defend our country. But that's not off the table.
I'm more speaking to serving the country in any capacity possible.
There are a lot of people out there that evolved or will evolve into a very strong person that the Military would definitely be able to utilize, and you just never hear about how those people can serve their country.
Is it worth exploring if you're slightly out of the usual target age range?
Interested party.
Once again, please give me a break for starting my research here.
