Isn't it quite something though, that a 'comedian' - and I'm not putting inverted commas around it to disparage him personally but only to highlight society's very hypocrisy. - a comedian can cruise around this area in discussionary-phase and still have a career the next day ("the guy is edgy. Ya can't interfere with a comedians material") - but a normal guy tries to build a discussion to critically analyse.said period in history and he's liable to lose his job, risk being charged with something very serious, lose his reputation, and gets ostracised all through social media.

Comedians and journalists, licence to free think. The rest of us - "Watch it!"

Probably then no mystery why comedians and journalists are two of my least favourite careers over the years.

Oh I speak in the present tense as a rhetorical device…. to prod thoughts in other anons - as is our role with each other.

I'm in my 50s. I have filing cabinets Full of things. noticed down the decades ;). Perhaps why this is a potentially promising time. Is the world getting ready to acknowledge the games? The real games of kings, queens, subjects, slaves and yep, jesters

Classic. Old style. Like it came from the Golden Age. A scriptwriter having lots of fun with a stark character and sharp cut premise.

So few really classic modern films get shown today. But then again, the guy was a Trump Republican ;) - outcast.
