Kind of same here. Technically, I found Alex Jones first, which led me to Ron Paul, and then to becoming a libertarian. I got to meet him and spend some time with him at a Mises even a couple years ago. Super great guy. Doesn't have a bad or untruthful bone in his body.

I lamented for a while that he didn't get an honest shot at president, but looking back now, I'm not sure he would have been successful taking on the DS. I think they would have just shut down anything he tried to do. Trump is definitely the man for the time.
