Having something to lose provides the fear needed to stay silent. If you can't speak you have already lost and if you have already lost you have nothing to lose. It is easy to be anonymous but as a professor you have a far larger audience that respects you and will consider what you say and the actions you take than I will ever have. Use that platform for good just as your counterparts use it for evil.
