This is true. The origins of the word gay are murky. And homosexual wasn't coined as a term/concept until Hirschfeld came up with the term in the late 1800s.
I'm sure shills will say they were just called "sodomites" before Hirschfeld, but even that's not correct. Seems like "sodomite" referred to the young male prostitutes themselves (basically, victims of ancient child trafficking). I don't think there was a definitive concept of "gay" before the modern era. Which leads me to think homosexuals just were part of society, and different cultures had different "rules" about how such men were expected to behave (e.g., in some cultures they were just expected to marry anyhow, even while it was acknowledged they'd sleep with men). The true history is buried, along with everything else, so it's all guesswork.

It's a total lie. A mtf trans person has very little "community" with a bi guy who lives in a mining camp and gets his rocks off once every 6 months. The whole concept is just absurd, and just more efforts to create artificial divisions.
