I watch my share of biz news and lately it seems to me this COVID v2 fear porn is really an attempt to crash the economy like in 2008 with the added impact of killing off small businesses and strengthening big companies.

There's more. As I said, I watch biz news regularly, and noticed CEOs of big companies spout the same bs. Years ago it was global warming, last year it was climate change, this year it's BLM and 'wear your masks'. Like Q said, a lot of these CEOs are comped, and there will be more. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some requirement for CEOs who get into Fortune 500 to comply with certain requirements. Hell, even the company I work for (in the Fortune 500 list ) is spewing this crap. They all want to be or are in "The Club". I'm starting to wonder if companies financial records are amped to help them go higher on the list, help those CEOs chisel more millions $$ out of people. Comply, you get more.
