INFRARED CAMERA VEHICLE AT 3AM DRIVING SLOWLY DOWN NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS

Anons, please help me with this.

So this happened right in front of me at 3 AM in the morning.

The way they're driving down each street makes it obvious to me that they're mapping the neighborhoods. The fact that it's being done at zero dark thirty makes it seem ridiculously nefarious to me.

Possible explanations:

1. Cameras can see through walls. (Also, maybe they're not just infrared, maybe they're a broad frequency spectrum). What are they looking at?

1. Mapping the amount of EM radiation in a given area. Why?

1. Google street view at night. Access to be given to whom/what?

1. I'm the only one who doesn't know that they've been doing this sh** for years. If so, someone please let me know.
