It's NPR. No one argues with NPR, do they?
>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has acknowledged that it is mixing the results of two different kinds of tests in the agency's tally of testing for the coronavirus, raising concerns among some scientists that it could be creating an inaccurate picture of the state of the pandemic in the United States.
From the CDC:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/serology-overview.html
>A positive test result shows you might have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.
Logically:
The numbers in the US from the CDC include antibody tests, and the antibody tests include positive results from the common cold. ERGO, the reporting of numbers from the CDC is inaccurate to measure the actual cases of COVID-19.
