Just had an interesting chat with my neighbor who's NG here in AZ. said that he is 'on call' with orders from the Pentagon to mobilize to CA on July 4th potentially.

He wouldn't go into it, but why would the Pentagon be giving orders to the NG unless the NG has been put under Federal control? Am I right?

Has the ball been called? Insurrection Act of 1807 invoked?
