2. the children of the people recover.: of the people? recover? Sounds like Mika and her fellows did some very bad thing to children, who maybe no grown up, are recovering. And there are people helping them to recover.

3. Just don't do it. This comes at the end (the beginnings of a drunk's rant are more clear than the end). Here Mika is most likely not talking to her fellows, she's talking to herself. (most drunks, when on a rant alone, always wind up talking to their demon within)

I wasn't considering anything except her words. But you bring up a very interesting other thing. She's a drunk, she's done bad things to children. Of course she knows what Joe is more than capable of. But it cuts both ways. Joe knows what Mika is more than capable of.
