Pentagon Clears Plan to Withdraw 9,500 US Troops From Germany

US President Donald Trump has approved the Pentagon's plan for withdrawing 9,500 troops from Germany after Trump said the country was failing to live up to its spending obligations as a NATO partner.

"The Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff briefed the president yesterday on plans to redeploy 9,500 troops from Germany. The proposal that was approved not only meets the president's directive, it will also enhance Russian deterrence, strengthen NATO, reassure allies, improve US strategic flexibility, and take care of our service members and their families," Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs Jonathan Hoffman said in a Tuesday statement.

"Pentagon leaders look forward to briefing this plan to the congressional defense committees in the coming weeks, followed by consultations with NATO allies on the way forward. We will be providing timely updates to potentially affected personnel, their families and communities as planning progresses," he said.

Earlier this month, Trump announced his intent to remove nearly 10,000 troops from Germany, noting the country only pays 1.4% of its gross domestic product toward defense, when the nonbinding NATO standard is 2% of GDP.

“So we’re protecting Germany, and they’re delinquent. That doesn’t make sense. So I said, we’re going to bring down the count to 25,000 soldiers,” Trump said. He also noted Germany treats the US "very badly on trade," a possible reference to Berlin's refusal to end its joint gas pipeline project with Russia, the Nord Stream 2 project, which is nearing completion and would threaten US natural gas exports to Central and Western Europe.

Last week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the troops would be redeployed to "make sure we’re postured appropriately" to counter China. Trump has also noted that some may be moved eastward from their German bases to Polish ones.

Trump Never Briefed On Unvetted Russian Bounty Intel Because NSA "Strongly Dissented"

On Tuesday, the same day that Joe Biden finally emerged to hold his first press conference in 89 days in order to lash out at what he called Trump's "dereliction of duty" over the NY Times Russian bounties for Taliban militants to kill American troops in Afghanistan story, The Wall Street Journal issued this bombshell:

The National Security Agency strongly dissented from other intelligence agencies’ assessment that Russia paid bounties for the killing of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan, according to people familiar with the matter.

The disclosure of the dissent by the NSA, which specializes in electronic eavesdropping, comes as the White House has played down the revelations, saying that the information wasn’t verified and that intelligence officials didn’t agree on it.

As we noted before, it appears a return this week to mainstream media's prior years of near daily breathless Russiagate reporting, with "anonymous intelligence sources" issuing new leaks of unvetted raw intel to the press.

The WSJ points out that it was primarily the NSA's firm dissent that kept the Russian bounties allegation out of the president's daily briefing — which both further confirms the White House's denials of the initial Friday Times reporting, as well as contradicts the NYT "revelation" itself.

"Because of that [NSA dissent], President Trump was never personally briefed on the threat, the White House said, although a key lawmaker said the information apparently was included in written intelligence materials prepared for Mr. Trump," WSJ underscores.

No details were given as to precisely how the NSA differed in its assessment of the Russian bounty allegations. For those keeping score, this marks the third major formal distancing from the substance of the NYT reporting by US intelligence agencies and intel community leadership.

Transvaal farmers‘ union TLU SA has documented 5437 Farm attacks and 2067 farm murders in South Africa from 1990 up to May 2020. These figures only represent incidents reported to TLU SA and not all farmers. It also excludes farm workers that have been killed.

The ‘White Cross monument’ in Polokwane (Pietersburg) now contains 3600 crosses, each purportedly commemorating a farm murder. The government of South Africa and current president Cyril Ramaphosa do not recognize the White Cross Monument, deny its existence and do not recognize incidents of “Boers” or “Farmers” being murdered. Visiting New York in September 2018, South African president Cyril Ramaphosa claimed there are no farm attacks in South Africa.

Despite drastic COVID lockdown measures, there have been at least 156 farm attacks in South Africa in the first half of 2020 and 24 murders. ToekomsVonk documented 132 attacks and 19 Murders up until May 31, and there have been at least 24 attacks and 5 murders in June so far, as documented below. In 2019, there were 453 attacks and 48 farm murders. Out of a farmer population of approx. 24.000, that means the murder rate of South African farmers is 200 per 100.000. In Tijuana, it is 134 out of 100.000, in Ciudad Juarez, it is 104.

Since Monday, 15 June, there have been 31 Farm attacks and 3 farm murders in South Africa. These attacks are frequently accompanied by extremely heinous acts of violence, murder and rape. In South Africa’s Muti religion, the consumption of body parts, especially from live victims, is believed to hold powerful magic. Up to 300 people are sacrificed every year in South Africa so that their body parts can be used in traditional Muti medicine, an ABC Australia documentary found 2005. Most of these are young children, tortured to death.

“It’s done while she’s still alive because the more she screams, the more powerful the Muti’s going to be,” explained crime expert Kobus Jonker in the ABC documentary, gesturing at the picture of a mutilated six year old girl. Jonker was the first South African to acknowledge Muti murders and set up a special police unit to deal with it in 2005, but Muti murders are notoriously hard to prosecute. Cannibalism is not a crime in South Africa.

“And so we’ll be looking at a lot of the current stay-at-home orders, or rather we’ll start looking at the health orders and health directives in relation to indoor versus outdoor activities,” he said.

Universities Commit to Racism

One of the famed universities in the world, Cambridge University, knows which side it is on. When one of its lecturers tweeted, “White lives don’t matter,” and then “Abolish whiteness,” the university defended her, and then promoted her to the rank of professor. When another instructor tweeted “White lives matter,” his contract was terminated. The anti-white lecturer was a female of color, while the instructor who thinks white lives matter was a white male. White males, as woke “social justice” activists tell us, are wrong, they are oppressors, and inherently toxic racists. Females, especially females of color, are deemed to be victims of white male oppression, and are always right.

Is there a word for thinking about people of different races differently? Ratism, raverism, ragusism? What about for treating people of different races differently? Discresionism, depressionism, deterentism? Whatever you want to call them, Cambridge University has them down pat, and so does every other university in North America and Western Europe. Racism has become official policy in every university, policed by the “diversity, equity, and inclusion” commissars who command thought and re-educate or exile dissidents, and by the woke politicians who give them their marching orders. And discrimination in favor of preferred categories of people is the new standard of “justice.”

Professors and administrators who speak out against woke orthodoxy are attacked and hounded out of their jobs by “social justice” warriors. The Michigan State University Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation was summarily fired for daring to question the benefits of diversity and the costs of canceling merit in science. TikTok is STILL spying on iPhone users by secretly reading content saved to clipboard, devices running on the beta version of Apple's iOS 14 have revealed

The beta release of Apple’s iOS 14 has pulled the curtain on TikTok, revealing the video sharing app is still secretly reading users’ clipboard contents.

The firm came under fire for snooping earlier this year and vowed to stop accessing devices’ clipboards, but users testing the new operating system found TikTok has not kept its promise.

When the app access the clipboard on a device with iOS 14, a notification appears at the top and a video shared on Twitter shows that TikTok was looking at the clipboard every free strokes – even when it was running in the background.

A TikTok spokesperson told The Verge that it submitted an update to the App Store to have the feature removed.
