My whole family went into a store with a ‘mask required’ sign naked faced and no one said a damn thing. But I’m in Texas and they can’t do crap except kick us out of the store in which case I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

I’m an ICU nurse for a VA hospital. We have arguable the most respiratory compromised patients by patient population. I’ve seen exactly two intubated COVID patients and our ICU is at its lowest census that anyone can remember.

COVID is real, the severity is not. Positive tests are highly exaggerated as well as hospitalizations, shortages and deaths.

Nurses in our city are getting laid off left and right (not at the VA thanks to tax $$). There is no pandemic.

Not openly, but I’m sure I would be absolutely lambasted if I posted anything under my real name on social media.

The funny thing is we all talk openly about what absolute bullshit it is AT WORK except for the very few who still buy the narrative and act like it’s going to kill us all, I can count them on one hand.

There are many different Covid tests and we have no idea what they actually detect beyond what the CDC tells us. I do know that standard coronavirus (aka common cold) is detected by a normal respiratory viral panel and as far as I know does not trigger a positive.

Although I have heard from several sources that tests that have never touched a patient have come back positive. Truth is a virus that spreads this quickly will mutate and we don’t know what the hell to test for even if we believed in the tests accuracy. It’s like the flu tests, we check flu a and b but those are not even close to the only strains out there.

I would want to see it myself in action to be sure, asymptomatic carriers are definitely a thing with any disease, however I will say that no one at the hospital I’m at believes the tests are accurate.
