I understand you dude. I used to be more of a lefty myself. I didn't pay much attention to politics then because I was a very analytical techie-minded person. It seemed like a stupid waste of my time to watch a bunch of dumb politicians lying all the time. It was easier to just peek at the news from time to time only to see that they hadn't really ever solved anything.
I was more lefty by default and I resisted labels because I didn't understand really what 'liberal' or 'progressive' meant or if they even meant different things. If I didn't understand them, I didn't want to use them. I was a low information voter.
LOVs are not necessarily stupid people, they may just be people who've become jaded by the establishment's mistreatment of our government systems. When I was a LOV I still felt like everyone in congress should be tossed out and replaced. I felt like there was too much money trading hands in high places for the wrong reasons. I hated war. These are all TRUE things.
Remember that #resist thinks they're speaking truth to power. They need to be pointed at what they truly need to #resist for the sake of all of us. Their arrows have been twisted to point at Russia but they haven't looked hard enough to realize they've been tricked.
