Sergeant Major Daniel J. Daly
Already had 2 MOH when he served in WW1. He helped establish the name Devil Dog by his fighting tenacity in the Battle of Belleau Wood, France.
He is also famous for saying,
"For Christ's sake men-COME ON!
Do you want to live forever?!"
He led that charge as a First Sergeant.
