Is Q or the one posting for Q perhaps a AI supercomputer simulating and trying to determine how to deal with us if we get out of hand ? Kinda like plagues Inc except someone is corrupt a whether the computer/AI or the player ..

There's a video game called soma with a similar scenario, and in its attempt to help humanity when we are hit with catastrophe, the AI creates monstrosities by keeping the dead alive ect live to preserve life..

Just something that popped in my head cuz the chess game in it against AI gets corrupt and doesn't allow any further play since the computer is going on overkill.
