Dozens evacuated after massive explosions at local supermarket in western France (VIDEO)
Residents in Plancoet, in northwestern France, were rudely awoken in the middle of the night by a series of ferocious explosions at a nearby supermarket, which blew out windows and forced evacuations.
Roughly 40 firefighters from the town and nearby villages were deployed to tackle the blaze near the Hyper U store in Plancoet, which broke out at around 2:38am local time. Eyewitness footage from the scene shows the incredible power of the explosions. It comes amid fears that an arsonist might be wreaking havoc in the area.

Responding to the allegation that the T-shirt ripped off the emblem of the Nazi Party – spread online by the president’s detractors on Wednesday – Trump’s campaign team dug up photos showing prominent Democratic figures donning similar symbols, asking whether they also had something to hide.

Trump campaign reshuffles key staff, hires ex-NASA official
President Donald Trump’s campaign has named Jeff DeWit as its chief operating officer, replacing Michael Glassner, less than five months before the election and as polls show him lagging his Democratic challenger, Joe Biden.
The reshuffle, according to two people familiar with the matter, came as top donors were becoming more concerned over the management of the campaign and Trump’s falling poll numbers. The reelection operation has struggled to respond to crises, including the coronavirus pandemic, the economic damage it has wrought and the growing demands for racial justice.
The changes were orchestrated by Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and a White House adviser, according to another person. He has played an influential role in the campaign though he is not officially part of it.
DeWit was the chief financial officer at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration from March 2018 until February, and the COO of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Glassner, who worked on that effort as well, has been chief operating officer since December 2016.
Glassner will focus now on legal matters with the campaign, campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh said in an email late Tuesday night.

In reality, the story of the Lincoln Project PAC is far less noble and altruistic than the media makes it out to be. So much so that in the midst of the PAC’s recent blitz of tweets and ads showcasing their disdain for Trump and support for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, the conservative Club for Growth Action group started a website focused on exposing the anti-Trump PAC columnist Miranda Devine dubbed “embittered former GOP grifters.”
