I 93 to Concord NH, Then I 89 to Burlington, VT and on to Canada.

I'm guessing she took that route through Bradford, NH to avoid crossing over to VT at Lebanaon, NH. She could snake through on less traveled roads, then pick up I 91 in VT past Claremont. She could have snaked through VT, too, to get to 89 to Burlington a little further up then Lebanon.

Might have been road blocks or BOLO patrols in Lebanon.

Rumor was she was holed up north of Boston. I think she wanted to fly out of Montreal. Straightest shot Boston to Montreal is 93N to 89N.

You take 93 N out of Boston to get to Concord. In Concord you pick up 89 to West Lebanon NH and VT. 91 N out of New Haven, CT through Springfield MA crosses there, too.

I think Maxwell wanted to avoid that Interstate junction.

Best (most traveled) route would have been off 89 at Sunapee/New London exit. They took a more circuitous route through Bradford, or stayed there overnight for some reason.

I think they wanted the quickest shot and realized they were being tracked (drones?).

Yeah, maybe they were looking for remote crossings, but it really is a PITA in that area. I think they were thinking interstate as much as possible, but avoid major junctions.
