Oh my gosh. Oh my GOSH.
Friends, curmudgeons, and even you assholes, I have a prediction.
This prediction is based on a response from two very certain people to something I tweeted the other day.
It concerned IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig.
There is a reason why you may not have even heard his name before.
He's been practically invisible since his confirmation.
Stay with me a minute and read this bio:
"Charles Rettig is a California native who earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at the University of California, his J.D. at Pepperdine University, and his LLM in Taxation at the University of New York Law School. Rettig has spent the last 35 years practicing tax law and helping taxpayers settle their disputes with the IRS. He has dealt with high profile clients with tax controversies that include, Michael Jackson, Don Ho, and “Girls Gone Wild” creator and founder Joseph Francis. Rettig has represented individuals and companies in both civil and criminal tax matters before the IRS. He has successfully sued the IRS on behalf of a California bank holding company, and settled many disputes involving overseas taxes and the proper handling of money. For the past decade, Rettig has also been an adviser to the IRS and state tax collectors.
Rettig’s term will run until November 2022. He will replace David Kautter, who has been acting as IRS commissioner and is the Treasury Department’s top tax policy official."
Okay, now skim through the MOUNTAIN of law enforcement powers long held by the IRS:

So, it's a lot. A. LOT.
Now think back of something we talked about when it happened, the two Clinton Foundation whistleblowers who testified before Congress, Lawrence Doyle and John Moynihan (transcript appears below the video)

All those fraudulently-obtained "donations"
All those individuals, companies, and countries who fraudulently "donated", with many taking tax deductions for doing so
All that pay-to-play.
And once you have the numbers in order, it is an EASY task to go directly to RICO.
And we know that basically everything but the kitchen sink is admissible as evidence in RICO cases.
All that to say: I believe Rettig and some other wonderful people are about to walk into our little bar here.
