Is the Oklahoma (and other state) Teacher Walkouts a clown plan to turn reds state blue? I am seeing and hearing massive conservatives screaming to not re-elect the R's in the midterm, because R's are calling for the teachers to go back to work after teachers getting a substantial but needed ($6100/annual) raise. Also, I saw a chart (not public domain) of the allocation of the additional money generated by the teachers march. Millions of $$$ are not even going to education!!! Where is it going? I am going to try to get a copy of the chart and will post it.
This walkout has disrupted everyone. Parents having to seek emergency daycare for the kids as daycare centers weren't staffed for this. Kids going to work with parents which cuts down productivity. Businesses affected from parents not being able to go to work. Vacation plans disrupted (kids and teachers will have to make up missed days). Teachers beginning to freak out because students achievement tests are looming and their jobs are tied to the results. (In the current dumbed down atmosphere in the classroom – it's already nearly impossible to teach.) And it's all being blamed on R's!!
Betsy Devos has called for teachers to go back to the. I have two adult children working in the school systems - one an administrator, one a teacher. It is known by those who are really "woke" understand there is a huge liberal push behind all of this. The unions are out in mass firing the teachers and communities up. This is worrisome. We cannot let our red states get turned blue by allowing (((them))) to use our children as mascots for (((their))) agenda. We need to shine the red light in the states that are being affected.
