Facebook Class Action Lawsuit

In 2016 the federal government revealed during the Oregon trial against Defendants charged for their involvement in protests in Nevada and Oregon that Facebook provided raw, bulk data to the U.S. Government without a warrant. This data was admittedly given by Facebook to the U.S. government in violation of the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which prohibits unlawful search and seizure, as well as in violation of Facebook's own written policies.

Federal court documents indicate that if you viewed, clicked "like", shared, commented or are connected to anyone in the "Bundy Ranch Community" dating back to 2014 until approximately the middle of 2016, all of your personal data was seized and searched without probable cause and provided to the U.S. Government by Facebook without your knowledge.

If you followed the Bundy protests, or know of someone who followed the Bundy protests on Facebook in 2014 through 2016, you are a potential class member of a lawsuit that will be filed on behalf of everyone similarly situated. The magnitude of this breech of Facebook's data could potentially be in the 10's of millions of Facebook users. All of our individual profile data, along with all of our friends, contacts and group member's profiles were searched in bulk, as the government admitted in open court that we are all "un-indicted co-conspiracy ators" if we clicked like or shared a post.
