I've pondered that many times but in terms of his physical well being. I hope this isn't all building to a Jesus moment of self sacrifice…. to 'heal' the divide.

So if virtually everyone has protected dirt on each other, and if everyone can implicate someone else and buy themselves a witness protection program, and if the collection of these folks is large enough to take up years of arrests and subsequent witness protection program deals? - who actually goes to jail as convicted criminal?
Skilled lawyers, with large financial inducements, could stagger out evidence giving to decades with each witness under protection.
Just a thought so don't bite me. But given anything can be faked, from supposed famous quotes, to supposed ancient books, to supposed polls and supposed stats - surely high tech monitoring equipment can be manipulated to read what the scientists want to tell the world that it reads.
