N.B. Petroleum geochemist spouseanon has replied to these exact same posts twice before; this is either disinformation or wishful thinking misinformation and should NOT be notabled.

Oil is comprised of long-chain ORGANIC hydrocarbons which evaporate into a gaseous (as opposed to liquid oil) phase at a temperature of 200C; therefore, oil cannot be generated by polymerization reactions at 1500C which is the temperature postulated in this inorganic origin theory which has been “around” for many decades.

More importantly - simple reality check: oil fields are NEVER found in mountains or the mid-oceanic ridge where the mantle (magma) exhumes (appears) to the earth’s surface.

Another critical observation: oil fields always occur in the sedimentary basin where there are organic-rich source rocks as opposed to rocks of inorganic (i.e., magma) origin.

Since when is "spouseanon" necessarily a "wife"?!

And since when is "wife" a pejorative?!

Gave you the benefit of the doubt (simple misinformation rather than disinformation).

Do you want the appearance of authority by posting technical papers that 99.9% of anons here cannot understand or do you want the simple truth?

If you cannot even articulate the argument yourself, much less respond to my arguments with intelligible intelligence ( rather than a false appeal to "authority") than you have no argument and are further proven to be either a shill or sadly misguided.
