Water seekling level ground is bullshit.

The only constant about water is that it always flows 90 degrees to the contour.

Highways aren't flat; there's deliberate curavture to enable the water to run off to the sides. That's why highways have ditches along the side.

Think the old Dallas Cowboys Texas Stadium.

The reason the field curved the way ti did was so that any rain that fell through the hole in the roof didn't puddle on the field.
