Hello you beautiful anons, waiting on our President at home watching the television. So today I finally got around to trying (have no idea what I am doing) to revive my old deck (pic related, not mine but looks like mine). So for a week or two I replaced screws and and the big grounding screws in all the posts, used wood strengthener wood putty and then today in 95 degree heat I tried to put a seal on it. I screwed it up but i feel like at least I tried and I will fix the errors. But this evening I did the most important thing (why I was trying to fix an old ugly deck). I put up my American Flag tonight to go along with the oath I took publicly on social media. Its pouring now but when I open my door I see that big beautiful flag attached to that rickety old deck and its amazing the feelings it produces…
Thats it, Happy Independence Day anons, the fireworks tonight at Mt. Rushmore will be the only ones I see this year and I will watch right along with you all…..I am with you all in spirit. God bless the United States of America and the flag stands tonight at this anons house.
