Massive rockslide cuts US-95, only road between northern and southern Idaho

The timing on this event is weird. This road (US-95) through the Snake River canyon near the town of Riggins is the ONLY road between northern Idaho (Couer d'Alene, Moscow, Lewiston) and southern Idaho (Boise region). You have to make an immense detour through Oregon or Montana to get around this location.
