Judge Amy Berman Jackson Set To Kill Roger Stone

Trump hating Judge Amy Berman Jackson seems determined to send Trump loyalist Roger Stone to his death at a dangerous correctional facility in Jesup, Georgia where the dangers of COVID-19 infection for the 67 year old Stone will likley kill him, ending the possibility that her corruption and misconduct in his trial will ever be exposed on appeal.

The judge purported to base her decision in part on the fact that there are no reported cases of inmates testing positive at the prison in Georgia to which Mr. Stone is being sent. Yet , as another judge opined in ordering the release of an inmate ,this only means no “confirmed” cases. Only 30 or fewer inmates out of over 1400 inmates at the facility have ever been tested, and at least one study has shown that 70% of inmates who get tested test positive.

The only inmates tested at the prison in question are those who have been quarantined for 14 days prior to their release from the prison.

Even more alarming, just 10 days before Judge Jackson denied Mr. Stone’s request to delay his date to report to the prison, another federal judge ordered the release of a convicted sex offender and child pornographer from that same prison, based on undisputed, front line, first- hand evidence of the dramatic risks of exposure to the COVID-19 virus at that very prison. The evidence is that even the most fundamental protections, like wearing masks, washing hands and social distancing are not in place and the prison’s staff comes and goes from outside the prison each day, in a state with record-number reported cases of COVID-19 spiking each day.

Under AG Bill Barr’s directives and other Department of Justice and BOP guidelines, medically vulnerable inmates who rank “minimum” as to their risk to the public, and high on chronic health impairments (but not COVID-19 infection), were given priority for release. In the last week since June 20thGeorgia has seen the most number of cases since the pandemic started. June 20th was the highest day yet at 1800 cases. The last 3 days (June 23-25) have been over 1700 all three days.

The agency confirms on 6/18 -active cases at 69 of its 122 prisons. At least 6,245 prisoners and 673 staff infected. Federal officials have allegedly tried to conceal the extent of the outbreak by limiting testing—so that they didn’t have to report positive cases—and refusing to recognize one staff death. As of Tuesday, they had completed testing on less than 13 percent of prisoners in BOP-run facilities.

Evidently that “special treatment” includes the death penalty.

Catalan district with 200,000 residents becomes first in Spain to be put under local lockdown after Covid-19 spike

Officials in the northeastern Spanish province of Catalonia have imposed a local lockdown in Segria county, home to tens of thousands of people, after a spike in Covid-19 cases.

Catalan President Quim Torra announced the containment measures in Segria, home to more than 200,000 people, starting from Saturday. It’s the first part of Spain to be subjected to a local shutdown since nationwide restrictions were partially lifted.

The borders of the area around the town of Lerida will be sealed for non-transit and non-essential travel from 16:00 local time, giving people a short window of opportunity to leave the quarantine zone or return to it. Officials have also banned gatherings of more than 10 people and urged elderly and vulnerable people to stay at home.

“The government’s priority is to protect the life and health of people, and it will take all the necessary decisions and measures,” Torra said at a media conference.

He called on residents to observe social distancing and instructed the Catalan Interior Ministry to strictly enforce the rules by fining violators.

There are nine hotspots of Covid-19 in Lleida, with 28 infected people currently being treated in hospital. Segria county has registered 365 new infections in the past week. President Torra said the infection rate was “much higher” than in other parts of Spain, necessitating “extreme measures”.

French homegrown ISIS terrorist sentenced to 30 years for aggravated murder & leading group of jihadists

A senior French ISIS member, who converted to Islam at 21, has been locked up for 30 years. It’s the first time a Paris court has imposed a sentence for jihadist crimes committed in Syria.

Tyler Vilus, 30, was found guilty of aggravated murder, being a member of a terrorist group, and heading up a group of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) fighters in Syria.

The homegrown terrorist is believed to have been part of the Al-Muhajireen (the immigrants) brigade of foreign jihadists that carried out executions and torture, which he denied. Vilus was found to have overseen executions as a member of the religious police in the Syrian town of Ash Shaddadi.

A 2015 IS propaganda video shown in court features a man believed to be Vilus standing close to two blindfolded prisoners, a member of the Syrian Army and a Free Syrian Army fighter, who are shot in the head.

Public prosecutor Guillaume Michelin said that Vilus “hasn’t changed one bit” since his time in Syria. He asked the court to give him a life sentence with no chance of parole for 22 years, calling on the court to “put a definite end to the bloodshed.”

“All the steps in the accused’s journey are interlocked with the construction of the caliphate,” he said. The judge, however, said that he wanted to give Vilus a “glimmer of hope.” Vilus’s case is the first successful French prosecution of an Islamist militant for crimes committed in Syria.

Dershowitz defends Ghislaine Maxwell by citing friendship with Clintons, Twitter scoffs

Alan Dershowitz has penned a staunch defence of Ghislaine Maxwell following her arrest by the FBI. But his touting of her friendship with the Clintons as evidence of her character has left many incredulously scoffing.

The famous lawyer penned an op-ed for The Spectator in which he sought to set out his own relationship with Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged madam and argue that she must be presumed innocent.

Dershowitz, who has himself faced accusations of involvement in Epstein’s sex ring, explains that he was first introduced to the British socialite by a member of the Rothschild family and when he subsequently met her, on “several occasions”, she was in the presence of esteemed people such as Nobel Prize winners, university presidents and even Bill and Hillary Clinton.

The irony of citing the Clintons as character references for a person accused of misconduct relating to sex didn’t go unnoticed and many took to Twitter to point this out.

Former British ambassador Craig Murray wrote: “Alan Dershowitz argues that Ghislaine Maxwell could not possibly be a predatory sexual pervert because her friends were people like…. Bill Clinton. Ahem.”

While another sardonic commenter added: “Yes of course. Those in positions of power and wealth never commit any crimes.”

Dershowitz’s article even prompted a response from Juanita Broaddrick, a former Bill Clinton volunteer who claims the politician raped her in a hotel room in the 1970s. “Weird… Why exactly did Dershowitz write this?” Broaddrick asked.

The piece appears to have backfired on Dershowitz as, far from explaining away his connection to Maxwell and Epstein, it sparked a slew of tweets about the subject. The reaction even saw his name to climb into the Twitter trending charts in the United States.

Maxwell appeared in court on Thursday accused of helping pedophile Epstein “identify, befriend and groom” multiple girls, including one as young as 14. The 58-year-old denies any wrongdoing and, if convicted, faces up to 35 years in prison.

'Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown': Congress declares American independence

PHILADELPHIA (JULY 4, 1776) — Two days ago, the Continental Congress, assembled in Philadelphia, voted to declare that the 13 British colonies of America are “Free and Independent," establishing at once the “united States of America" as a separate nation entirely.

“We … the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do," Congress announced.

On July 4, delegates of the 13 colonies adopted the “Declaration," formally severing the colonies from the authority of king of England. This momentous declaration will doubtless serve to escalate the military conflict between Britain and her colonies. Sources close to Congressional leaders indicate that the formal declaration was considered necessary to enlist the aid of the French army, which the colonists consider necessary to winning any military conflict with Britain.

Relying on the “self-evident" truths that “all men are created equal" and “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights," the members of Congress firmly proclaimed the right of the American people to self-governance and listed a number of “repeated injuries and usurpations" imposed on the colonies by the British crown.

Among those grievances listed are the king's failure to allow the colonists — despite having been full citizens of England — to have adequate representation; the king's decision to repeatedly close the colonies' legislative bodies for choosing with “manly firmness" to reject “his invasions on the rights of the people"; quartering British soldiers in American homes; unjustly “imposing Taxes … without our Consent"; “cutting off … Trade with all parts of the world"; and for waging war against his own people.

Despite its clear declaration of independence from the British kingdom, Congress insisted it has not desired such extreme action, but that it has become necessary because of the unrelenting “Oppressions" of the crown.

“In every stage of these Oppressions," Congress wrote, “We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."

TheBlaze has learned on July 8, Gen. George Washington, commander of the Continental Army, learned of the “Declaration" in a letter from Congress President John Hancock.

“That our affairs may take a more favorable turn, the Congress have judged it necessary to dissolve the connection between Great Britain and the American colonies, and to declare them free and independent states; as you will perceive by the enclosed Declaration, which I am directed to transmit to you, and to request you will have it proclaimed at the head of the army in the way you shall think it most proper," Hancock reportedly wrote to Washington.

Democrat Congressional Candidate Urges Twitter Followers to ‘Report’ Trump Supporters

Nate McMurray, the Democrat candidate for New York’s 27th Congressional District, urged Twitter followers Wednesday to “report” Trump supporters.

Thursday, immigration lawyer Matthew Kolken shared a screenshot of McMurray’s tweet and said, “This is a dangerous chill of 1st Amendment freedoms”:

McMurray’s campaign website said there was nothing he valued more than the trust of his constituents.

He continued:

Also on Friday, McMurray described himself as a progressive, which to him meant “what we did before isn’t good enough.”

“America is a work in progress. We must do better tomorrow than we did today. I don’t want to make America ‘great again,’ that’s regressive. Forward. Better. Inch by inch, upon the sacrifices of each generation,” he tweeted.

Later, McMurray took a veiled swipe at President Trump and also told Twitter followers to report so-called racist content on social media:

However, several Twitter users fired back and asked if he was going to report them for exercising their right to free speech.

“I’m a Trump supporter. Whatcha gonna do about it? Are you gonna report me? This is the United States of America and we’re free citizens. I know you liberals are desperate to change that and abolish our freedoms,” one person said.
