Evidence that a cheap, over-the-counter anti-malarial drug costing £7 combats Covid-19 gets trashed. Why? Because the pharmaceutical giants want to sell you a treatment costing nearly £2,000. It’s criminal.

A few years ago, I wrote a book called ‘Doctoring Data’. This was an attempt to help people understand the background to the tidal wave of medical information that crashes over us each and every day. Information that is often completely contradictory, viz ‘Coffee is good for you… no, wait it's bad for you… no, wait, it’s good for you again,’ repeated ad nauseam.

I also pointed out some of the tricks, games and manipulations that are used to make medications seem far more effective than they truly are, or vice versa. This, I have to say, can be a very dispiriting world to enter. When I give talks on this subject, I often start with a few quotes.

For example, here is Dr Marcia Angell, who edited the New England Journal of Medicine for over 20 years, writing in 2009:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgement of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as editor.”

Have things got better? No, I believe they’ve got worse – if that were, indeed, possible. I was recently sent the following email about a closed-door, no-recording-allowed discussion, held in May of this year under no-disclosure Chatham House rules:

“A secretly recorded meeting between the editors-in-chief of The Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine reveal both men bemoaning the ‘criminal’ influence big pharma has on scientific research. According to Philippe Douste-Blazy, France’s former health minister and 2017 candidate for WHO director, the leaked 2020 Chatham House closed-door discussion was between the [editor-in-chiefs], whose publications both retracted papers favorable to big pharma over fraudulent data.

The email continued with a quote from that recording: ‘Now we are not going to be able to … publish any more clinical research data because the pharmaceutical companies are so financially powerful today, and are able to use such methodologies, as to have us accept papers which are apparently methodologically perfect, but which, in reality, manage to conclude what they want them to conclude,’ said The Lancet’s editor-in-chief, Richard Horton.”

Italy’s Matteo Salvini Slams Chinese Communists over Hong Kong

ROME — The leader of Italy’s leading populist party declared on Friday that China’s communist regime has nothing in common with Italian democracy, condemningthe left-wing government’s silence in the face of Beijing’s crackdown on Hong Kong.

The leader of the League (Lega) party, Matteo Salvini, issued a declaration sharply criticising a communiqué from the Chinese Embassy, following protests by a Lega-organized flash mob outside the embassy in support of Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement and against Communist China’s draconian National Security Law.

In their statement, representatives of Beijing in Rome expressed “strong dissatisfaction and disappointment” over the Lega protests, accusing the party leadership of “gratuitous accusations” and applying “double standards” toward China.

“China’s central government protects national security through legislation and guarantees the stability and durability of the ‘one country, two systems’ principle,” the statement read, claiming that the regime was “ maintaining Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability.”

“There is no country in the world, Italy and China included, which, in the face of serious crimes that threaten their national security, would sit and watch without doing anything,” it continued.

“These politicians, who had denounced acts of violence and criminality taking place on Italian territory and put forward proposals aimed at strengthening legislative measures on public order, pretend not to see and hear the deliberate violations of the law by Hong Kong’s violent people, which even lead to crimes of separatism,” it said.

In response, Mr Salvini ripped into China’s communist system, insisting it has nothing in common with free Western democracies.

“The Chinese Embassy shouldn’t dare compare China to Italy,” Salvini said. “In Beijing there are no alternative parties to the Communist Party, the opposition is gagged, and even children are arrested in Hong Kong with unheard of violence.”

“The Embassy refers to our Security Decrees, but without explicitly mentioning them,” he continued. “Let us recall that in Italy laws are passed by a democratically elected parliament, and not ratified by the National Assembly of the People in submission to the Communist Party,” he continued.

“More serious and shameful than the Chinese Embassy spokesman’s announcement,” Salvini concluded, is that “in Italy there is only the SILENCE of our government regarding the Hong Kong incidents.”

Hillary Clinton Pushes Conspiracy Theories To Explain 2016 Loss, Says She'd Beat Trump in 2020

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blamed her defeat in the 2016 presidential race on “the Russians” and “WikiLeaks” while touting that she would be President Donald Trump if she was on the ballot in November in a recent interview.

Although Clinton will not be on the ballot in November and said she doesn’t plan on running for president again, she told The Hollywood Reporter that she would beat Trump in 2020 if they were facing off again.

“Yes, but I think people believe that this is a referendum on him,” the former first lady said.

Clinton’s documentary series “Hillary” started streaming on Hulu on March 6, and Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards this week named it the Best Limited Documentary Series of the year.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Feinberg asked the 72-year-old Democrat if she was ever afraid Trump would actually “lock her up,” as crowds chanted at some of his rallies in relation to her email scandal.

“You know, I’ve never done anything wrong,” Clinton responded.

“I’m, you know, as some people like to say, the most investigated, exonerated person in recent history.”

She added, “But if he could have found anything that he thought could impose some kind of cost on me — because, at the root of this, Scott, is he fears that his win — that narrow win in the Electoral College — was not legitimate.”

Clinton said that Trump “knows” the Russians and WikiLeaks helped him win in 2016.

“So if he could [have gone after me] … he would have, because he’s a vindictive score-settler and he doesn’t want the legitimacy of his election ever to be questioned, although history will continue to question it,” she said.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have accused each other of heinous abuse. As a showdown begins in London, we reveal the full court papers behind Hollywood's real-life horror movie

Once he was the coolest anti-hero in Hollywood. Now, Johnny Depp is aiming to clear his name of allegations that he beat second wife Amber Heard in a sensational High Court case that starts in London next week.

Depp, 57, who is understood to be in Paris with former partner Vanessa Paradis and their two children, Lily Rose, 21, and Jack, 18, is suing The Sun newspaper for libel after it described him as a 'wife beater' in April 2018.

The three-week trial is due to start on Tuesday and will pitch him against bisexual actress Amber Heard. She is claiming that Depp hit and choked her while in the grip of addictions to drugs and alcohol.

Depp's team, however, contend that she has simply made up all her accounts of assault. In fact, they say that she assaulted him.

The pre-trial hearing has proved explosive with claims that Depp begged his assistant for 'happy pills' and 'whitey stuff' — which lawyers claim meant ecstasy and cocaine — days before he allegedly assaulted his wife.

The legal documents, seen by this newspaper, make for compelling reading. In them, Amber, 34, is called a 'Gone Girl' — a reference to the 2012 thriller by Gillian Flynn (and later movie) in which a wife goes missing and leaves a trail of faked evidence which frames her husband for her murder.

So what are the allegations against Depp — now filed in greater number and detail than ever before — and how will he respond?

Here is the story of the trial, which is set to be the showbiz sensation of the year.

Stormy romance hits the rocks

Depp and Heard met in 2011 when she was cast as his love interest in the film The Rum Diary. They were first romantically linked in June 2012, just as Depp was splitting from Vanessa Paradis, his partner of 14 years.

They were married in February 2015 on Depp's private Caribbean island.

The couple ran into trouble in April 2015 during the filming of Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales after being caught trying to smuggle their dogs, Pistol and Boo, illegally into Australia on a private jet.

Heard filed a restraining order against Depp a month later, saying she was 'extremely afraid' of the star. Allegations surfaced that he had hit her, and she appeared in public with a bruised face.

Their divorce became final in early 2017, Heard receiving a £5.3 million settlement — paltry against Depp's reputed £400 million fortune. She also had to pay her own legal fees.

NPR Gives Platform to Former Neo-Nazi to Call Trump a ‘Megaphone’ for White Supremacy

Taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR) interviewed a former neo-Nazi to make the case that President Donald Trump has a pattern of using his Twitter account to send messages of support to white supremacists.

On Sunday, Trump posted a video of his supporters at The Villages retirement community in Florida, which included one man who allegedly yelled, “White power. ” The president deleted the tweet, and his staff has said he did not hear that in the video, but the left-wing media are using it to further the narrative that Trump is supportive of white supremacists.

NPR reported that the term“white power” is meant to instill fear.

“It was also a proclamation that distilled what we believed in into two words,” Christian Picciolini told NPR’s Morning Edition.

Picciolini, who know runs an anti-extremist group, said it also differs from black power.

“Not in a sense that black power is used as a cry for equity and a cry against white supremacy,” Picciolini said. “White power has always been used as kind of a bludgeon and not as anything other than that.”

“When President Trump on Sunday retweeted a video in which an alleged supporter yelled ‘white power,’ Picciolini didn’t want to speculate what the president was thinking,” NPR said in the interview. “But what struck him, he says, ‘is that this has been a pattern.’”

“This hasn’t been the first time that the president has tweeted something that has come from a white supremacist or that has had a white supremacist message, whether it’s talking about a conspiracy theory that’s connected to white genocide or whether it’s using pejorative language to describe other people,” Picciolini said. “What is intentional, I believe, is the goal to instill fear. We’re seeing a lot more language that is racist, especially with the use of social media, and he is emboldening that kind of language through his tweets”:

NPR repeated the debunked idea that Trump supported the neo-Nazis who protested in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017 and said Confederate statues were “beautiful” when, in fact, he praised the beauty of U.S. historic monuments.

“I think what President Trump is, is a megaphone,” Picciolini said. “It’s as if Trump kicked over a bucket of gasoline on all of those small fires that have existed for 400 years and created one large forest fire.”

Law enforcement in Mexico killed 12 Los Zetas gunmen after an attack on Mexican soldiers in the neighborhood of Los Fresnos, near Nuevo Laredo.

Military personnel from the 16th Regiment conducting routine patrols came under attack during an ambush by members of Los Zetas, also known as Cartel Del Noreste (CDN). The attack commenced at approximately 2:15 a.m. on July 3 on the outskirts of Nuevo Laredo in the neighborhood of Los Fresnos. The community is located roughly a mile from the U.S./Mexico border.

Mexican soldiers repelled the attack, according to authorities. The gun battle resulted in the deaths of twelve cartel gunmen. Authorities later found another gunman from the same group deceased from wounds related to the attack.

Kansas teacher, 58, is charged with reckless stalking after '210 photos and 31 videos of a 4th grade girl are found on his phone and iPad and it's revealed he searched her name online 39 times'

A former Kansas elementary school teacher has been charged with reckless stalking after prosecutors say they found a cache of more than 240 photos and videos of a fourth-grader on his digital devices.

The arrest of James Loganbill, 58, of Olathe, last month has sparked protests in the community, with parents calling for tougher laws aimed at protecting children from the predatory behavior of adults.

Loganbill, a teacher in the Olathe School District for 31 years, resigned from Meadow Lane Elementary School in March when the stalking allegations against him first came to light.

According to Johnson County prosecutors, some of Loganbill's fourth-grade students reported his behavior to officials after allegedly observing him photographing their 10-year-old classmate at school.

Investigators said they ultimately discovered 210 photos and 31 videos depicting the girl on Loganbill’s phone and iPad, which were taken between August 2019 and March 2020.

Israeli Cyberattack Caused Fire at Iran Nuclear Site

Israeli planes reportedly attacked missile site in Parchin

Thursday’s fire at Iran’s Natanz enrichment site, previously claimed by a secretive group called Cheetahs of the Homeland, is now being reported as a cyberattack by Israel. Reports also suggest that a recent explosion at a missile factory was the result of an Israeli airstrike.

As always with Iran and Israel, confirmation is all but impossible to come by. Israel isn’t saying anything officially, and Iran has said they will say what happened at a time of their choosing in the future.

Iran says that they have already determined what happened, however, and are threatening retaliation over the matter. This likely suggests they aren’t taking the Cheetahs as a likely culprit.

But that still raises questions, as the Cheetahs issued an email to the BBC taking credit before the attack was even announced. The group, whoever they are, may have served as a flimsy cover for the cyberattack.

Iran’s threat to retaliate, without publicly blaming Israel, probably means no specific plans are in place. Talk of retaliation in the future is a common way to get around not doing anything near-term.

Reducing the pressure to do something is that the cyberattack did only minor damage, causing a fire in a shed. Iran says no casualties were reported, and there was no risk of radioactive release.

The Netanyahu-led Israeli government was expected to initiate its plan to annex as much as 35 percent of the West Bank in the Jordan Valley earlier this week, formally declaring it part of Israel along guidelines laid out in President Trump and his son in law Jared Kushner’s so-called “Deal of the Century.” After international criticism and even caution from some members of the U.S. Congress, a delay in the plan has been announced. Nonetheless, critics fear that Israel will begin annexing Palestinian land soon.

Israel’s annexation of the region would put the over 70,000 Palestinians under full Israeli authority, giving the Israeli military control over all movement, agriculture, water, and all imports and exports, forcing residents to endure apartheid-like conditions experienced by those living in Gaza.

The plan would also cut out a part of the West Bank, allowing Israel to encircle the region militarily and control all Palestinian access to the outside world similar to the apartheid-like policies it carries out in Gaza. Not only does Trump’s so-called Deal of the Century hand de facto control to the Israeli military over all Palestinian movement, but it also opens up the doors to over 100,000 illegal Jewish only colonies on indigenous Palestinian land and prevents the two million Palestinian refugees who have the legal grounds to return to their land from ever doing so.

The move is nothing short of territorial conquest and military occupation as defined by the United Nations Charter and the annexation is illegal under International Law. Indeed, the United Nations’ High Commissioner on Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, has declared Israel’s annexation plans both “illegal” and “disastrous.” This will, without a doubt, create another preventable man-made humanitarian disaster at the hands of Western powers that will fuel the military-industrial complex and stimulate profits off of the theft of indigenous land and blood of indigenous people. If the plan is not stopped, the West Bank could very well become a sprawling open-air prison and ghetto similar to Gaza.

Despite the international opposition, Israel enjoys full support from the United States, the world’s only superpower, and plans to complete the annexation before Trump’s reelection run in November.

Cornell Improperly Sends Student Fees to BLM Activists

Unregistered group collects $10k from student government coffers

The student government at Cornell University improperly donated thousands of dollars in student fees to a coalition of Black Lives Matter activists and left-leaning organizations.

The Student Activities Funding Committee (SAFC), a student-led panel that allocates fees to campus groups, sent $10,000 to the Cornell Students for Black Lives fundraising initiative. The initiative, which is not a registered student organization, describes itself as a student organization "coalition." According to the funding guidelines in the student government charter, for a group to be "eligible to request funds or to spend allocated funds [it] must register with and be approved by the Campus Activities Office by when the budgets are due in each semester."

The contributions have drawn objections from other student groups. Conservative student leaders penned a letter to the editor at the Cornell Daily Sun expressing their concern that the spending violated the SAFC charter and funding guidelines.

"Nothing in SAFC's charter, bylaws or guidelines for funding authorizes the transfer of funds to non-registered groups," the letter reads. "No meeting on the record was held and no vote was recorded."

The Cornell Students for Black Lives initiative has already generated a financial windfall, raising more than $118,000 from a GoFundMe page in collaboration with the Cornell Black Alumni Association. Neither the initiative nor the alumni association returned a request for comment.

Some student government officials defended the allocation. The student assembly's vice president of finance Moriah Adeghe believes the campus government is within its boundaries to spend appropriated money on the "humanity of black people." Adeghe claims any student against the donation should not "mansplain" their dissent and is inherently "anti-black."

"Your fixation on the rules and guidelines shows that you are more concerned with bureaucracy than you are with the lives and humanity of black people," Adeghe wrote in response to the letter to the editor. "Black lives being important is not a political issue and quite frankly, if rules need to be broken to support that cause they will be…. If you think that a donation to a cause that uplifts black people is wrong, no matter where the money came from, you are anti-black." Adeghe did not respond to request for comment.

Navy Chief Who Died Aboard Deployed Carrier Roosevelt Identified

The sailor who died Thursday after experiencing a medical emergency aboard the deployed carrier Theodore Roosevelt in the Pacific was a Navy chief assigned to one of the carrier's embarked strike fighter squadrons, officials announced Friday night.

Aviation Electronics Technician Chief Petty Officer Justin Calderone, assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 146 out of Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., died around 5 a.m. local time July 2 after being evacuated from the ship by an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter and taken to a military medical facility onshore. The carrier has been operating in the Eastern Pacific and was in the vicinity of Pearl Harbor at the time.

Calderone was from Ohio and enlisted in the Navy in 2003, officials with U.S. 3rd Fleet said in a release. He had earned the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, with four subsequent awards.

It's not clear what the nature of Calderone's medical emergency was. Though the ship had nearly 1,300 embarked sailors test positive for COVID-19 in the Navy's largest outbreak earlier this year, officials said Calderone had been tested multiple times and was consistently negative for the disease.

"It is a tragedy to lose a shipmate," Cmdr. Kevin McNatt, commanding officer of VFA-146, said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and shipmates of Chief Calderone during this difficult time."

The carrier deployed in late January from its San Diego homeport and got underway again June 4 after a multi-month stopover in Guam to address the COVID-19 outbreak onboard.

Russia remains committed to nuclear test ban - Foreign Ministry

Russia remains committed to the ban on nuclear tests and continues to implement the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty despite the fact that the treaty has not come into force, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s press office said on Saturday commenting on the United States’ 2020 Adherence to and Compliance with Arms Control, Nonproliferation, and Disarmament Agreements and Commitments (Compliance Report).

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that "the US allegations that Russia allegedly violated the nuclear testing moratorium by conducting nuclear experiments inconsistent with the US ‘zero-yield’ standard are not expectedly substantiated by evidence."

"Along with this, Americans admit that they know neither about the number of those experiments in 2019 nor about whether they were conducted or not. We underline that in accordance with its international commitments, Russia should not follow any ‘US standards’ in the nuclear testing field," the ministry added.

"We officially confirm that Russia remains strictly committed to the nuclear testing moratorium and continues to implement the provisions of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty with regards to the nuclear testing ban, in spite of the fact that the treaty has not come into force," the ministry stressed.

"Unlike the United States, we ratified it 20 years ago and have been implementing with success. Along with this, we proceed from the assumption that any disagreements on criteria for compliance with relevant commitments can and should be settled within the framework of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty after it comes into force," the statement says.

"As long as the United States has not ratified this treaty, we think it counterproductive to discuss with that country’s representatives the issue of compliance with that nuclear testing ban," it emphasizes.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that "the insinuations seem to have been brought up so as to distract attention from the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty." The ministry noted that "the US placed the treaty on the verge of total collapse by renouncing its ratification."

"Washington appears to be preparing the world that the voluntary nuclear testing moratorium, which is still in effect in the US, will be abandoned and, as a consequence, the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty will be totally dismantled," the Foreign Ministry said.

Apart from that, the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that "on absolutely false 'messages' are based the allegations about Russia’s alleged non-compliance with the Treaty on the Limitation of Underground Nuclear Weapon Tests (known as the Threshold Test Ban Treaty) signed by the Soviet Union and the United States in 1974. Under the treaty, the sides should inform each other about the nuclear tests.".

Netherlands ‘Justice’ Is Totally Corrupt: MH17 Case as Example

On Friday, July 3rd, the judge in the Netherlands court case against Russia as having fired a Buk missile that brought down the Malaysian Airlines plane that Ukrainian Air Traffic Control had instructed to fly over Ukraine’s civil-war zone on 17 July 2014 ruled out any consideration of evidence from Russia.

Judge Hendrik Steenhuis “refused to allow Russian military intelligence to reveal where the missile was located between 1987 and July 17, 2014, when the Dutch prosecution claims the missile was fired by a Russian military crew at MH17,” as John Helmer reported on Friday. The Dutch prosecutor says that that Buk missile was fired by Russia’s Government, not by Ukraine’s Government, and that it was owned by Russia and had been maintained by Russia ever since having been manufactured in Russia in 1986, and the Dutch judge announced that he refuses to consider Russia’s evidence to the contrary.

Russia’s Government alleges that it can provide evidence that that missile did not, in fact, bring the airliner down, and that, instead, it was brought down by two Ukrainian Air Force jets that fired directly at and into the airliner’s pilot, but previously the Dutch court had ruled out any consideration of such evidence, though even the Dutch Government’s own investigation included and buried the following information, as I reported just a few days ago on June 24th:

The Dutch Government’s 279-page investigative findings on the “Crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17” were published in October 2015, and reported, on page 84, (under 2.13.2 “Crew autopsy”) that “First Officer Team A … During the body scan of the First Officer’s body, over 120 objects (mostly metal fragments) were detected. The majority of the fragments were found in left side of the upper torso.” Then, it reported, on page 85 (under 2.13.3) “the First Officer, from Team A, who was operating the aeroplane at the time of the crash.”

(Note that they buried this crucial information, instead of saying clearly that “The pilot’s upper left torso, immediately to the left of the area of the fuselage that had been shot out, had 120 objects that were mostly metal fragments.”) (Here is a closer picture of that side-panel on the left side of the fuselage, to the pilot’s immediate left, and here is that side-panel shown back on the airliner, so that one can see that this firing had to have been done from below, shooting upward into the pilot.)

This crucial physical finding, that the pilot’s corpse had been loaded with “over 120 objects (mostly metal fragments),” is entirely consistent with the side-panel’s having been shot through by bullets, which would have been coming from a Ukrainian military jet and aimed upward, directly at the pilot. That marksman had to have been highly proficient in order to hit the pilot so accurately with so many bullets.

Nothing else was found to be shot through with anything like such an intensity of “mostly metal fragments,” but only the pilot’s upper left torso. This, alone, is virtually conclusive proof that a Ukrainian military jet plane had fired directly at the pilot in order to bring down this civilian plane. (More will be cited here, in #2 below.)

All of this evidence was entirely buried and ignored by the Dutch Government, revealed deep in the report, and only in sub-clauses, instead of in any direct sentences. Furthermore: “There have been two or three pieces of fuselage that have been really pockmarked with what almost looks like machine-gun fire, very very strong machine-gun fire.” This remarkable statement comes not from Haisenko, but from one of the first OSCE investigators who arrived at the scene of the disaster. That evidence is consistent with the Dutch Government’s having found (but buried) that the pilot’s corpse had been riddled with “metal fragments.”

Disney Finds New Avenue For Revenue In Partnership With Ford

Entertainment giant Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) has been suffering for the past few months while its parks and experiences were closed, and only a few have recently reopened. Its main revenue driver during the COVID-19 pandemic has been its streaming services, and it's been finding innovative ways to make them more profitable, such as releasing new films straight to streaming.

A new partnership with the Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is another path to bringing in much-needed cash.

Catching customers' attention

Ford had planned to reveal its new Bronco 4x4 family of cars at an auto show in Detroit, but had to think up a new strategy to make a splash in light of the pandemic. The alternative plan is to unveil the collection throughout Disney's broad platform of broadcast, cable, digital, and streaming channels, including ABC, ESPN, National Geographic, and Hulu.

"As a new era for Bronco begins, we're proud to tap the strengths of epic adventurers like Jimmy Chin and Disney storytellers to help bring Bronco to life and inspire millions of people to get out into the wild," said Ford COO Jim Farley in a press release.

Disney's CreativeWorks agency worked with Ford to bring branded content across its networks. The agency has created three-minute films to air on each of three networks on July 13. An ad featuring country music star Kip Moore will air on ABC during the Country Music Association's concert event; an ad featuring professional rock climber Brooke Raboutou will air on ESPN; and an ad featuring Jimmy Chin, who is an award-winning director and climber who collaborated with Disney on the project, will air on National Geographic.

As The Intercept‘s Glenn Greenwald notes, both parties advancing the amendment cited in their arguments the completely unsubstantiated intelligence leak that was recently published by credulous mass media reporters alleging that Russia has paid bounties to Taliban fighters for killing the occupying forces in Afghanistan. Yet another western imperialist agenda once again facilitated by unforgivably egregious journalistic malpractice in the mass media.

The mass media have continued to add to their mountain of Gish gallop fallacies promoting this narrative with a new Daily Beast report citing former senior Taliban figure Mullah Manan Niazi who asserts that “The Taliban have been paid by Russian intelligence for attacks on U.S. forces—and on ISIS forces—in Afghanistan from 2014 up to the present.” The Beast’s own article admits that its source has severe conflicts of interest and is believed to be a CIA asset by Taliban leadership, and that Niazi provided no evidence of any kind for his claim or any further details whatsoever.

U.S. F-35 Warplanes Pounded ISIS Hideouts In Iraq’s Nineveh

The U.S.-led coalition announced on July 4 that it had launched a series of airstrikes on ISIS cells in the northern Iraqi province of Nineveh.

The airstrikes, which took place on June 24, were carried out by U.S. F-35 stealth combat aircraft. ISIS hideouts and tunnels in the Makhmur mountain range were struck. The results of the airstrikes were not released.

Yehia Rasool, a spokesperson for the Iraqi Commander-in-Chief, revealed that the airstrikes were carried out according to “accurate Iraqi intelligence information.”

The Makhmur mountains are teeming with ISIS cells. From there, the terrorists launch attacks against Iraqi government forces on a regular basis. The U.S.-led coalition targeted the mountains several times this year.

Last month, Joint Task Force of US-led international coalition reportedly conducted 59 operations and 12 strikes against Daesh in Iraq and Syria. As a result, 39 Daesh leaders and 123 detainees were killed.

Iraqi government forces are now intensifying their operations against ISIS remnants throughout Iraq. The Iraqi Air Force and the coalition’s air force are playing an increasing role in these operations. As a result, the group’s cells are sustaining serious losses.

Victoria coronavirus cases rise by 108 as Daniel Andrews strengthens lockdown at nine public housing estates

Some 3,000 of Melbourne's "most vulnerable" residents will be locked in nine public housing estates for at least five days due to a coronavirus outbreak.

Premier Daniel Andrews said that in recent days, at least 23 cases had been identified in more than 12 households in the Flemington and North Melbourne public housing estates in inner Melbourne.

Mr Andrews said the nine towers included 1,345 units of housing and were home to about 3,000 residents.

It comes as Victoria recorded its second-highest ever daily increase in coronavirus cases, with 108 people diagnosed with the virus overnight.

Postcodes 3031 — taking in Flemington and Kensington — and postcode 3051 — covering North Melbourne — will be added to the list of suburbs already under stay-at-home orders from midnight Saturday night.

Under the stage three restrictions, people in the 12 suburbs can only leave the house for four reasons: work or education, exercise, medical care or caregiving or shopping for supplies.

However, those living in the nine public housing estates will be in a "hard lockdown" and not able to leave their residence for any reason.

Making the announcement at 4:00pm on Saturday, Mr Andrews said the new rules were "effective immediately" for the estates.

There have long been concerns of overcrowding in the densely populated public housing blocks.

Deputy Chief Health Officer Annaliese van Diemen said living in close quarters and sharing facilities made transmission more likely.

What Mandatory Vaccination and the 5G Rollout Have in Common

Our country, and world, face unprecedented challenges when it comes to health freedom; one in the form of mandatory medicine and another in the form of universal wireless radiation exposure, involving increasingly complex and synergistically toxic electromagnetic frequencies.

Both agendas are being implemented through the increasingly chimeric partnership of multinational corporations and would-be governmental regulators, both without the full and informed consent of affected populations, and both under the auspices that they are necessary for the greater good.

Both also come with promises that we can not rightfully ignore. First, universal vaccination promises a world without infectious disease, and with theoretical reductions in morbidity and mortality that could ‘save millions of lives.’ This would require vaccination against a near limitless number of ‘germs,’ with a pharmaceutical pipeline of hundreds of vaccines ready to flood the liability-free market, but which largely ignores the discovery of the microbiome’s role in the human holobiont which is comprised mostly of said germs (you can go into greater depth on the topic here). In a post-COVID world, the fear-mongering around infectious disease risk has reached a fever pitch, and there are already over 100 COVID vaccines in development, the soonest to be available this fall for what the media and world governments are already hyping as an anticipated “second wave.”

5G, on the other hand, promises a technological revolution where exponentially expanding wireless transmission speeds would connect billions of devices into an internet-of-things, that would span the world over. This is presented as a huge consumer win (e.g. faster streaming) but ignores other uses for this network which include relentless real-time surveillance of all human behavior and even potential weaponization. The fact that there are zero independent safety studies showing the 5G network’s intended use of millimeter wave frequencies is overlooked, much like the fact that the CDC immunization schedule contains not a single vaccine that has been tested for safety and efficacy in a double-blind, randomized, trial using a true saline placebo; much less the entire schedule, which contains literally thousands of antigens, in a toxicological cocktail of complexity it would be technically near impossible to assess accurately for safety, both for acute and especially chronic adverse outcomes, such as autoimmunity disease, which in the case of the adverse effects of vaccine is far more common than most suspect.

This lack of safety testing, for both vaccines and 5G, is the primary red flag they share in common. The medical ethical principle of informed consent, arrived at only after the horrors of Nazi human experimentation came into full light during the Nuremberg trials, requires that those who undergo exposure to health risks be fully informed of them, and not just the purported benefits. Without access to information of this kind, without which informed consent is not possible, medical and/or the tech industry’s practice and products violate fundamental human rights.

'Great Troubles Will Follow': Rabbi Claims Weekend Lunar Eclipse a 'Message From God'

Earlier this year Yosef Berger, in charge of King David’s Tomb located on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, said that the coronavirus pandemic, which has infected over 11 million worldwide, is one of several biblical plagues that signify the end of the world.

While amateur astronomers gear up to see the penumbral lunar eclipse, which will occur on the nights of 4 and 5 July, Rabbi Yosef Berger is warning that the event is also a "message from God" and could lead to tragedy. Berger claims that celestial events related to the Sun and the Moon are how the God of his faith announces a final redemption.

"A modern man does not understand how God appears in nature, how God speaks to us through nature. To the prophets, this was very clear", Berger said in a conversation with The Daily Express newspaper.

The rabbi cites several religious books, which he says predict tragic events. First he cites a verse in the Book of Joel, a portion of the Hebrew Bible.

"Before the great and terrible day of Hashem [a title in Judaism to refer to God] comes, I will set portents in the sky and on earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall turn into darkness and the moon into blood," the section reads.

Berger warns that some politicians may die after the upcoming lunar eclipse, pointing to a statement in an 1894 book of Kabbalistic insights penned by a Polish rabbi, Moshe Yisrael Benyamin, who stated that if the Moon is eclipsed in the month of Tammuz [fourth month in the Hebrew calendar, which this year falls on July] "a sultan will die and great troubles will follow".
