The militants are clashing with each other in the center of Tell Abyad, near the border crossing north of the town as well as in the nearby village of al-Yabisah.

Al-Shamiya Front militants reportedly managed to capture the Agricultural bank, a headquarters of the al-Majid Corps. Both groups are now using heavy weapons, including large-caliber machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.

Three Russian military convoys consisting of about 30 military vehicles arrived in Deir Ezzor City ;

Russian Warplanes Launched Air-To-Air Missiles Over Western, Northern Aleppo

Several Opposition sources reported that the explosions had been caused by air-to-air missiles launched by warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces. Syrian observers confirmed that a number of Russian warplanes were in the air at the time.

Over the past few months, several similar explosions were reported over the North-Western region of Greater Idlib, which is occupied by terrorist groups.

Turkish-backed militants in northern Aleppo and terrorist groups in Greater Idlib are both known for using armed UAVs in attacks on Syrian and Russian forces. The most recent UAV attack took place on June 22.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia has not yet released any official statement on the matter. This leaves the door open for all possible suggestions.

In the space of a few weeks the level of discourse in the news media dropped so low, the fear of being shamed as a deviationist so high, that most of the weirder incidents went uncovered. Leading press organs engaged in real-time Soviet-style airbrushing. Here’s how the Washington Post described a movement that targeted Spanish missionary Junipero Serra, Abraham Lincoln (a “single-handed symbol of white supremacy,” according to UW-Madison students), an apple cider press sculpture, abolitionist Mathias Baldwin, and the first all-Black volunteer regiment in the Civil War, among others:

Across the country, protesters have toppled statues of figures from America’s sordid past — including Confederate generals — as part of demonstrations against racism and police violence.

The New York Times, once the dictionary definition of “unprovocative,” suddenly reads like Pol Pot’s Sayings of Angkar. Heading into the Fourth of July weekend, the morning read for upscale white Manhattanites was denouncing Mount Rushmore, urging Black America to arm itself, and re-positioning America alongside more deserving historical parallels in a feature about caste systems:

French court acquits young people of ‘homophobia’ charges after their Catholic university denounced them

The acquittal is a slap in the face to the Catholic university, which had announced disciplinary action against the students.

A French Court of Appeal has found 12 college students who joined a spontaneous action against an “LGBT rights” stand in La Roche-sur-Yon, the administrative capital of the Vendée in the west of France, “not guilty” of homophobic insults and obstruction to a legal public demonstration.

The event had taken place last year on May 18, leading to mainstream media outrage against the young adults. They were immediately sanctioned by the Catholic University which most of them attended: ICES, “Institut catholique d’études supérieures de la Vendée.”

Their acquittal by the Court of Appeal of Poitiers is a slap in the face of the ICES, whose president, Eric de Labarre, had presented their student rumpus as a “grave incident,” and announced that disciplinary action would be taken. This was despite the fact that the “attack” took place after the end of the academic year – the students had just received their exam results – and outside the college campus that was closed at the time. In fact, not all the youngsters who joined were students at the ICES.

On May 20, 2019, de Labarre said: “The ICES condemns all forms of violence used to promote any convictions whatsoever. … Their attitude is detrimental to the reputation of the ICES, and as such they will not only be accountable before the courts, since a complaint has been lodged, but also before the ICES.” University authorities went so far as to disclose the identity of students who had participated in the incident to the police.

LGBT activists were calling for sanctions and expulsions for the students and the ICES adopted their vocabulary, speaking of their “anti-homophobia stand.”

At no time did the Catholic university’s hierarchy recall that if respect for all persons is a necessity, the upholding of Catholic teaching is also. While recognizing that their methods may have been ill-advised, several of the young anti-LGBT demonstrators insisted that they had been angered to see public promotion of moral disorder.

The public prosecutor of the Vendée, in a statement to the media, said at the time that there was “no link” between the incidents and the fact that some of the young men happen to be studying at the ICES.

Hill, also known as General BloodAgent, said: “It’s like our Founding Fathers stated, we believe we should come together, to lend our arms and council whenever a crisis arises.

“We advocate and defend our goals and beliefs with regards to our way of life, our constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic.”

The group, whose members are rarely seen in the public eye without military fatigues and firearms, sees its role as protecting the people, allowing them to rise up and take control. WHO halts hydroxychloroquine Covid-19 trials for second time, citing its ineffectiveness

The World Health Organization (WHO) has stopped the clinical trials of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine as well as the anti-HIV medication lopinavir/ritonavir in coronavirus patients, following preliminary results.

The United Nations health agency has said that the use of hydroxychloroquine – a drug once actively endorsed by the US President Donald Trump as a treatment against Covid-19 – should be discontinued, because it has little to no effect on halting the disease’s progression.

The decision was taken after the preliminary results of clinical trials conducted as part of the Solidarity Initiative – a WHO-backed international program aimed at tackling the Covid-19 pandemic – were received. The same study also showed that lopinavir/ritonavir – the two drugs normally used in anti-HIV therapy, and also touted as a potential cure against Covid-19 – are similarly ineffective.

“Interim trial results show that hydroxychloroquine and lopinavir/ritonavir produce little or no reduction in the mortality of hospitalized COVID-19 patients when compared to standard of care. Solidarity trial investigators will interrupt the trials with immediate effect,” the organization said in a statement.

While the Declaration of Independence promised to uphold the rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” of all men, America shamefully preserved the institution of race-based slavery. But the logic of the Declaration overrode the injustice. The United States finally outlawed slavery in the Thirteenth Amendment after the Civil War, fulfilling more of that promise. While America is a work in progress, this extension of freedom and justice is an outworking of the Declaration of Independence, not a rejection of it. Rejecting the foundation will only erode the freedom and justice all Americans want to claim.

Colin Kaepernick’s Independence Day Message: ‘We Reject Your Celebration of White Supremacy’

Colin Kaepernick took to Twitter on Independence Day to deliver a strong rebuke to the celebration of the nation’s founding.

According to Kaepernick, America has “dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized” blacks for centuries. He further called the celebrations commemorating the nation’s founding a “celebration of white supremacy.”

Kaepernick, the NFL’s original anthem protester, has not played in the NFL since the end of the 2016 season. After a long legal battle with the NFL, in which he accused the league of “blackballing” him and fellow protester Eric Reid, the NFL eventually settled the suit with Kaepernick. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently apologized for not listening to Kaepernick and other protesters. He then went so far as to say he would “encourage” a team to sign Kaepernick.

For some time after he began his protests, Kaepernick’s supporters inn the media claimed that his movement was not intended as disrespect to America or the flag. Though, in light of his determined effort to get his sponsor, Nike, to stop distribution of their Betsy Ross Flag sneakers on the 4th of July in 2019.

And, of course, his strident condemnation of America in his tweet today, those claims are not and never have been supportable.

Hillary Clinton: ‘I Don’t Know’ If Trump Will Leave Office if Defeated

Hillary Clinton said she is unsure if President Trump would leave office without putting up a fight if defeated by Joe Biden (D) in November’s presidential election, making the remarks in a Hollywood Reporter interview published on Friday.

“I don’t know the answer to that yet,” Clinton said in response to a Hollywood Reporter question asking if Trump would leave office “without a fight” in the event of losing the upcoming presidential election.

She said it depends on “how big the loss is” and asserted that it is one of the primary reasons the GOP is rejecting the far-left’s demands for nationwide vote-by-mail.

“That’s why they’re doing everything they can to prevent people from voting — you know, they want to stop mail-in voting, they want to shrink the number of places where people can actually vote in person — because they know if we have a big turnout, they lose,” she told the outlet.

“And so we’re gonna have lots of fights over actual voting procedures between now and November,” she continued. “And if they can do anything that makes it look questionable, they will.”

“And that’s why everybody needs to come out and vote — I don’t care where you live — and have as big a turnout as possible so that there can’t be any excuse given,” Clinton added.

The left has seized on the fears surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, attempting to use it to push their agenda of instituting vote-by-mail, which critics point out increases the possibility of voter fraud, as was recently seen in New Jersey.

Despite the widespread pleas from the left, recent data fails to show a compelling public health justification for vote-by-mail, as seen in Wisconsin. The Badger State held its in-person primary April 7. Out of over 400,000 voters, only a few dozen people who participated in the election as either poll workers or voters contracted the coronavirus, equalling an infection rate below two-hundredths of one percent. Furthermore, some of those who tested positive indicated other ways they were possibly exposed, meaning the infection rate could be even lower.

Marc Elias, Hillary Clinton’s former campaign attorney, has also played a central role in the left’s vote-by-mail efforts, demanding vote-by-mail coupled with ballot harvesting, which allows organizers to collect and deliver ballots.

President Trump has warned against vote-by-mail, stating that it will lead to the “most corrupt Election is USA history.”

Roughly 28.4 million mail-in ballots have gone missing over the last four election cycles, as Breitbart News detailed.

NBA, union agree to list of social messages that can be put on jerseys

The National Basketball Players Association and the NBA reached an agreement Friday on social justice messages that can be displayed above the numbers on the backs of jerseys when the league resumes play July 30, a source told ESPN's The Undefeated.

The list of the suggested social messages that were agreed upon by the NBPA and the NBA and then made available to players via email, per the source, are: Black Lives Matter; Say Their Names; Vote; I Can't Breathe; Justice; Peace; Equality; Freedom; Enough; Power to the People; Justice Now; Say Her Name; Sí Se Puede (Yes We Can); Liberation; See Us; Hear Us; Respect Us; Love Us; Listen; Listen to Us; Stand Up; Ally; Anti-Racist; I Am A Man; Speak Up; How Many More; Group Economics; Education Reform; and Mentor.

The messages will be displayed above the number during the first four days of the season restart, a source told The Undefeated. Players can have a first and second choice, but they do not have to use the space for a social message, the source said. If they do not, the player's last name would appear in that space.

After the first four nights, a player can simply go back to their last name. If they choose to continue showing a social message, their name would go below the number.

The personalized statements are part of a long list of social justice messages the players plan to deliver over the rest of the season, which will restart at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

The NBA and NBPA announced an agreement on June 24 to continue to discuss fighting systemic racism and to make it one of the focuses of the restart.

Earlier this week, a source told The Undefeated that players decided not to use the names of those who have died in police custody or in racially motivated incidents on the backs of their jerseys. There were concerns about offending people close to someone whose name might not be used, and over difficulties gaining permission from surviving family members.

NBA players were involved in nationwide protests, vocal on social media and active in the aftermath of George Floyd's death on May 25 in Minneapolis and Breonna Taylor's death on March 13 in Louisville, Kentucky, at the hands of police.

President Donald Trump declared in a fiery speech delivered at Mount Rushmore’s Independence Day celebration on Friday that “we only kneel to Almighty God.”

Christian Church in Nigeria Reports 8,370 Dead at the Hands of Boko Haram

The largest indigenous Christian denomination in the Northeast of Nigeria has reported a death toll of more than 8,370 of its members due to attacks from the Boko Haram Islamic terror group.

The Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, known in Hausa as Ekklesiyya Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN), reportedly has 1.5 million members spread mostly across the Northeast of the nation. The majority of the Boko Haram slayings of EYN members have taken place in Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe States.

The Reverend Joel Billi, president of the EYN, said Thursday that the church — founded 97 years ago — has been the hardest hit by jihadists of any Christian denomination in the country. Among the massacred EYN members were eight pastors. More than 700,000 of the faithful have been displaced by the violence.

Billi added that 300 of the EYN’s 586 church buildings were either burned or damaged by Boko Haram and an “uncountable number of houses of our members were either burnt or looted.”

Boko Haram has also engaged in extensive kidnapping of church members with 217 of the abducted 276 Chibok schoolgirls belonging to the EYN, which is currently headquartered in Adamawa State.

Billi has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari as well as to the governors of Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe to persevere in their efforts to rescue the remaining Chibok girls as well as the many others abducted by Boko Haram who are still missing.

“I also call with a loud voice, on the federal government, under President Muhammadu Buhari, to rescue Leah Sharibu, Alice Loksha, and hundreds of others abducted by the Boko Haram,” he said.

Billi further asked Buhari to station soldiers in the deserted communities of the Borno State district of Gworza, so that residents who were displaced by Boko Haram can safely return home.

Huge COVID Case-counting Deception at the CDC

For this piece, we have to enter the official world (of the insane)—where everyone is quite sure a new coronavirus was discovered in China and the worthless diagnostic tests mean something and the case numbers are real and meaningful. Once we execute all those absurd maneuvers, we land square in the middle of yet another scandal—this time at our favorite US agency for scandals, the CDC.

The Atlantic, May 21, has the story, headlined, “How could the CDC make that mistake?”

I’ll give you the key quotes, and then comment on the stark inference The Atlantic somehow failed to grasp.

“We’ve learned that the CDC is making, at best, a debilitating mistake: combining test results that diagnose current coronavirus infections with test results that measure whether someone has ever had the virus…The agency confirmed to The Atlantic on Wednesday that it is mixing the results of viral [PCR] and antibody tests, even though the two tests reveal different information and are used for different reasons.”

“Several states—including Pennsylvania, the site of one of the country’s largest outbreaks, as well as Texas, Georgia, and Vermont—are blending the data in the same way. Virginia likewise mixed viral and antibody test results until last week, but it reversed course and the governor apologized for the practice after it was covered by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and The Atlantic. Maine similarly separated its data on Wednesday; Vermont authorities claimed they didn’t even know they were doing this.”

“’You’ve got to be kidding me,’ Ashish Jha, the K. T. Li Professor of Global Health at Harvard and the director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, told us when we described what the CDC was doing. ‘How could the CDC make that mistake? This is a mess’.”

“The CDC stopped publishing anything resembling a complete database of daily [COVID] test results on February 29. When it resumed publishing test data last week [the middle of May]…”

First of all, the CDC’s basic mission is publishing disease statistics on an ongoing basis. Reporting partial data flies in the face of what they’re supposed to be all about.

But the big deal, of course, is combining results from two different tests—the PCR and the antibody—and placing them in one lump.

I’ve read the Atlantic article forwards, backwards, and sideways, and it appears the experts believe only PCR viral tests should be used to count the number of COVID cases.

So here is a takeaway I find nowhere in the Atlantic article: COMBINING THE TWO TESTS WILL VASTLY INFLATE THE NUMBER OF CASES.

I’m not talking about categories like “rate of infection” or “percentage.” I’m talking about plain numbers of cases.

Some PCR tests will indicate COVID and some antibody tests will indicate COVID, and adding them together will pump up the number of cases. You know, that big number they flash on TV screens a hundred times a day.

“Coronavirus cases jumped up again yesterday, and the grand total in the US is now…”

THAT number.

The number media and government and related con artists deploy to scare the people and justify lockdowns and use to stop reopening the economy.

Giving Venezuela a Break? US Troops Ordered to LEAVE Colombia

US troops have been ordered to suspend activities in Colombia for 48 hours after a court ruled that their presence in the South American country was unlawful.

The finding came after legal action was initiated by a group of opposition senators, arguing that President Ivan Duque had deliberately violated the constitutional requirement that the entry of foreign troops into Colombia must be debated in the Senate, Morning Post reported.

At least 53 US soldiers were sent to Colombia on June 1 as part of a so-called Security Force Assistance Brigade, ostensibly to conduct counter-narcotics operations. But neighboring Venezuela has consistently warned of US troop activity in Colombia, which in May was used as a launch pad for an attempted coup against the democratically elected government of President Nicolas Maduro.

The administrative court in Cundinamarca backed the senators’ legal bid with Magistrate Bertha Lucy Ceballos Posada ordering Duque to report to the Senate on the US troop presence. Until then, the US soldiers must suspend all their activities.

We are talking about sculptures of famous Americans located in Moscow and produced by well known Russian artist Alexander Burganov. As a side note, his sculpture of Russia’s most famous poet Alexander Pushkin is located on the campus of George Washington University, at the corner of 22nd and H streets, NW.
