A Father’s 4th of July lament

I woke up to a beautiful day.

As I have done for years on the 4th of July, I reread the Declaration of Independence to remind myself of the powerful words that created this country and the principles on which the course of its future was charted. I then sent my children a text reminding them how lucky we are to have been born in the greatest country in history and the beginning of the Declaration.

My son, who now identifies as a woman, responded that he was blocking my text and disassociating himself from me for sending him “racist nationalistic garbage” and for past sins (misogyny, dead naming him, resistance and refusal to change my worldview to understand how I am hurting others).

I have often wondered what it felt like to the members of families as they split asunder in events leading up to and during the US Civil War. Or the pain parents experienced as they watched their children brainwashed by the Nazi, Soviet, Cambodian and other regimes. And how many in this blessed USA have felt in these past years dealing with their friends, siblings and offspring who accept the MSMs warped view of the world and vilified them for not joining them. I now understand their pain.

Last night I was energized by President Trump’s speech at Mt. Rushmore and this euphoria hasn’t faded. It is tempered by the sadness I feel for my son and those caught in the same twisted reality. I still love my son but he is lost to me. I pray that someday he understands the shadow he has fallen into and comes back to the light.

I wish all the Anons here a safe 4th of July, it truly is a great day to celebrate. And if your children are standing by you today, count yourself fortunate. I’ll see you all on the front lines cause I ain’t going anywhere but here.

God Bless the Anons and Q.
