There is a large forest preserve owned by Harvard College in Carlisle Ma area (north of the bridge) where the old road used to go before powerful pepole (who got all the land there) said 'we don't want this road to go through here anymore'

maybe Harvard would be so generous as to donate this valuble public resource to be the new National Memorial Garden?
