Another Piper PA24 crashed last week in Daytona Beach after takeoff. Aircraft was owned by ERAU (Embry Riddle Aeronautical University) a student pilot and FAA certified flight examiner both killed. Wing ripped off shortly after takeoff. A pilot friend of mine said Piper has had corrosion issues, maybe shitty raw materials from manufacturing.
