I think there is a white hat US/Russia alliance. There could be a lot of evidence in the Russian language, similar to evidence against Biden from the Ukraine.
That could be the reason for trashing the Russians and claiming Trump is in Putin's pocket. It's an attempt by DS to discredit any evidence before it becomes public.
