Pawns are effectively like and follow bots. Around 55% of the specified force.

 

Knights are chatbots. Designed to drive comment traffic. 15%

 

Bishops are meme/photo share stocks. They basically push memes, stocked statements, etc onto their timelines to be picked up by other pieces. 15%

 

Rooks are aged Smurf accounts with a managed history of activity and, possibly, friend relations. 15%

 

The remainder (around 1%) are queens. Real operatives with real accounts.

 

This analogue could be expanded to other concepts, but is very applicable to the social media front.
