That said, there's no way the guy in the top pic is his dad. If you consider his mom had straight hair, then it's gonna take a black guy to kink up the hair enough to wind up with an afro in their child, and THAT guy doesn't have the hair texture required to make that happen.

It's darker because it's in broad daylight and at an angle. The darker areas are just because of contrast difference when you take a pic off a screen vs when you take a pic of a printed photo.

For me, it's a weird place to be in. In the black community there is a lot of pressure to pigeon hole ourselves as far as what to think, listen to, enjoy doing, so it takes some courage to step out of that at risk of personal relationships.
That said, some like myself do take that risk and support POTUS and his agenda. If I were a betting man I'd say that 5-15% feel this way AND express ourselves to family and friends, while maybe another 15% secretly harbor these feelings.
