Disney allowing commentators such as Stephen A Smith and Max Kellerman to disrespect our president constantly, is the reason I stopped watching or listening to ESPN, especially now that their only conservative Will Cain is gone. China told Disney they would not market or advertise a Star Wars film unless an African American in a movie poster was removed all together. The vast majority of Nascar fans are Trump supporters. Squaring off against the president of the US was not the smartest move for Bubba. This will only drive many more people away from Nascar. Nascar has tied it's fate to being woke with huckster Bubba and now cannot cut ties with him. In the process, they and Bubba have crapped squarely on the vast majority of their fan base. Bubba should have apologized for his over reaction to the garage door pull and the very insulting statements he made about Nascar fans and employees shortly afterward, but he didn't. He doubled down instead and let the insults stand.

Took fifteen FBI guys, rushed to the scene of the crime, to determine the "noose" was a garage door pull. The same as all the other garage door pulls in all the other garages there. The noose (a garage door pull loop) had been there long BEFORE the teams arrived, and it was NOT 'over his car.' It was hanging on the side of the garage door entry.
BOTH Flat-out LIES, intentional LIES to try to whip up a narrative.
He THEN went on CNN with Don Lemon - LIED again - AND smeared the entire NASCAR Fan Base at the same time.

Anyone who heard Bubba Wallace's interview on CNN AFTER the FBI found that no hate crime had occurred knows his reaction wasn't motivated by love. If someone hadn't intervened - his team, his agent, a friend - he would have continued to use the dishonest "hate crime" angle to his advantage regardless of the harm it caused. Wallace was wrong to publicly refer to the door pull as a noose and suggest it was placed there because he is black before either NASCAR or the FBI had concluded their investigations and for that he owes the country, which was already in a very bad place, an apology. President Trump's request for an apology on the nation's behalf is not hateful, it's what a responsible President does because black lives aren't the only lives that matter in a country of 325 million, and a responsible and honorable citizen would have apologized without being asked to.
Wallace's first instinct was to hate. And when his claims were proven unfounded, he continued to hate.
