One of the first questions a judge asks is "Is the defendent in the courtroom today"
if they are not, the attorney must attest that they are appearing on their behalf.
If the judge ok's that, the attorney must then attest that they know the location of the defendant.
We can then say that her location has been known since the time of that previous case.
She has not been in hiding or the attorney that attested for her whereabouts being known, would be in a jail cell.
