I agree with your hate for those things, but honestly never put much thought into what gen's offspring it was. All gens have their good and bad and they are based on 10-18 or so year cycles, so yeah Gen Z was definied after Gen X for labeling purposes.
But yeah Fuck safe spaces, parents who allow sex changes before adulthood, tranny bathrooms, gun free zones and nanny state stuff.
Gen X has lived through a lot of fallout and change. Rise in Divorces, civil rights, womens rights/feminism rise, Gay rights, Political correctness, AIDS, Alcoholism (parents), numerous recessions by Boomers excesses, complete change in working environments, career changes, Wars, Immigrant invasion, globalism, downsizing, 911, age of the internet, space exploration, and realizing the moon missions were faked, decline in music and entertainment, super decline of the dollar, death of the family…etc etc. Drastic changes
I'm still waiting for flying cars and 25 hr work week, life of leisure we were promised.
