I assume there are many small, local charities that are legit. Ones that involve a lot of money and are promoted by the media are totally suspect. 'Foundations' seem to be either money holes, or, like the Poly Klass Foundation, serve to somehow inject themselves into investigations as if they are a law enforcement agency.
