Biofeedback
There's more here than you might imagine. During the late '60's there were several developments that, when taken separately don't amount to much but when taken together expose something heretofore unseen.
One, which I have covered in depth were my experience's at the Preview House that used fingertip electrodes while watching previews of movies, commercials and other audio visual stimulus. They were targeting a very precise demographic and the amount of information they collected about you gave a subconscious blueprint of the subject that is unimaginable in detail far exceeding the self consciousnesses one can learn of self.

I alluded to why I had such insights into what was occurring and who was likely collecting the data. This CIA brief hints at the roots of the Gateway Project.
During and after the Vietnam War, a program was started in Veterans Hospitals that involved using Biofeedback to aid injured G.I.'s in self treating pain, PTSD, phantom limb syndrome, closed head injury, depression and more.
The seminal work to come from that was by Dr. Barbara Brown, and the book was New Mind, New Body.
It was not the first or only book about the subject, but it was, IMHO, the most important because I was one of the subjects studied.

I would also recommend Ethical Hypnosis and Jacobson's Progressive Relaxation.
Uncle Sam and many others have been tinkering will many aspects of the mind, consciousness, perception of reality, remote viewing, time travel, out of body experience's, mind control, psychology of crowds and much more.
Should probably have a dedicated thread to document all the fuckery they've pulled. And not just Uncle Sam, the Russians, Chinese, Norks, Japanese and many other countries have done similar studies. Just need to put the pieces together.
