MS-13 was supposedly based in Northern VA, it was not like Crips/Bloods which was basically East Coast vs West Coast with factions throughout the US (80s, 90s, early 2000s)
There were several more mainstream gangs during this time, and none of the gangsters I knew ever spoke about MS-13.
Then all the sudden around 2005-2006 they were country wide, and the most prolific gang this country has ever seen.
At the same time, Crips/Bloods suddenly disappeared and all these famous rappers came out in public about being one of the 2.
How much evidence do we need before we realize most of these street gangs were engineered by someone/something?
