As an IT hiring manager i've never paid attention to the credentials and focused on demonstrable skills and knowledge.
How about a masters with 8 years worth of experience that is unable to figure out how to find the biggest number in a column without sorting the whole damn column.
although these days pickings have sucked because the only resumes I see now are "diversity candidates"
