Retired Police Officers Launch Protect Our Police PAC to Elect Pro-Police Candidates

A group of retired police officers announced on Wednesday the formation of a political action committee devoted to electing pro-police candidates to state and municipal offices.

The launch of the PAC comes at a time when reaction to the tragic murder of George Floyd while in police custody has morphed into anti-police protests and calls for law enforcement agencies to be defunded and even eliminated.

“Our Police are under attack!” the website said. “Radical anarchists, spineless left-wing politicians and the mainstream media are doing everything in their power to defund the police and dismantle the systems of law and order that keep us all safe.”

“It’s time we fight back and show our police that we have their backs by electing leaders who will always back the blue! Help us Protect our Police!” The website mission statement said:

Our mission is to elect pro-police candidates for elections for municipal offices such as District Attorney, Mayor, Sheriff, City Council, City Controller, County Commissioner, County Supervisor, County Treasurer, and state offices such as Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Auditor General, Treasurer, State Representative, State Senator, and Judge.

The press release on the PAC formation said:

Based in Philadelphia, POP PAC’s board is led by veteran retired police officers who have seen the chaos caused by the city’s liberal criminal-sympathizer, headline-chaser District Attorney Larry Krasner. Under Krasner’s watch, Philly has seen a 10-year-high spike in homicides and gun-related crimes in minority communities as well as an all-time low in morale within the ranks of the Philadelphia Police Department.

Bobby Walls, co-chairman of the PAC, said:

Cowardly elected officials across America have turned their backs on our police officers, but we need law and order now more than ever in our cities and towns. Right here in Philadelphia, we’ve seen record levels of crime run rampant.

“Criminals are emboldened,” Walls said. “Even during a global pandemic, the murder rate climbs and they fraudulently blame our police officers as scapegoats, turning them into sacrificial lambs for the press.”

“Just this past 4th of July weekend, there were 31 shootings with seven homicides including a six-year old child,” Walls said. “Where is the outrage? Our elected officials have failed us yet again with broken campaign promises.”

“We will not let them fail our loyal police officers,” Walls said.

Hateful Liberals Boycott Goya Foods After CEO Praises President Trump at White House Hispanic Event

Robert Unanue, the president and CEO of Goya Foods spoke at a Rose Garden event at the White House Thursday for President Trump’a announcement of the Hispanic Prosperity Initiative. During his remarks, Unanue announced Goya employees were helping to donate one million pounds of food and one million cans of Goya chickpeas to food banks this summer to help ease a shortage at food pantries. Unanue also praised President Trump in his remarks, prompting liberals including leading Democrats to initiate a boycott of Goya Foods.

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you, John. Great job, John. Thank you very much. Great honor.

I’ll also be appointing the CEO and president of Goya Foods, Bob Unanue. Please. Please, Bob. (Applause.) Thank you very much, Bob.

MR. UNANUE: Good afternoon, Mr. President. Good afternoon, everyone. It’s such an honor and such a blessing to be here in the greatest country in the world, the most prosperous country in the world, and we continue to grow. And that’s what we’re here to do today.

Our company was founded in 1936 by my grandfather, who left Spain at only 18 years old. Did not know where he was heading, but he was heading and looking for opportunity and prosperity, and he found it in this great country.

Today, our company is a multi-billion-dollar company with thousands of employees and with facilities all around the globe. We have a tremendous group of what we call “la gran familia Goya,”the Goya family — the great Goya family.

And these are people — I told the President earlier we haven’t gone back to work; we never stopped working. Because when I asked our group, our family, “This is going to be a tough thing,” they said, “Look, Bob, if we don’t do it, nobody will.” And they stood up and they worked, and we continue to work day and night to provide much-needed food and nutrition to this country.

Today, it gives me great honor — and, by the way, we’re all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder. And that’s what my grandfather did: He came to this country to build, to grow, to prosper. And so we have an incredible builder, and we pray — we pray for our leadership, our President, and we pray for our country that we will continue to prosper and to grow.

Today, I have an announcement to make that the gran familia Goya wanted to share with all of you. There’s a great need today in food banks around the country. Food is being depleted. Hopefully, as the summer ends, we have new crops coming forward, but right now there’s — there is a shortage.

President Trump Admits the Only Reason Seattle Mayor Cleaned Out CHOP Zone Was Because He Threatened to Send in National Guard

President Donald Trump joined Sean Hannity on Thursday night to discuss the latest on the Democrat endorsed riots and mayhem in cities across the US.

During their discussion Sean Hannity asked President Trump about rumors he heard about the president warning the Seattle Mayor about the CHOP Zone in Seattle.

Sean Hannity: I had a source that told us but have not been able to confirm it the the reason the Seattle Mayor finally acted was because they were given notice that if they didn’t act that you were going to. Is there any truth to that?

President Trump: 100%. We were going in very soon. We let them know that. And they all of the sudden they didn’t want that. So they went in before we got there. But we were going in very shortly.
