archive.today (formerly archive.is) is an archive site which stores snapshots of web pages.[2] It retrieves one page at a time similar to WebCite, smaller than 50MB each, but with support for JavaScript-heavy sites such as Google Maps and Twitter.
Archive.today uses headless browsing to record what embedded resources need to be captured to provide a high-quality memento, and creates a PNG image to provide a static and non-interactive visualization of the representation.[3]
Archive.today can capture individual pages in response to explicit user requests
If you do it like this,BEFORE YOU POSTthen you will get a URL that you can share in your post. You guarantee that everybody who reads your post, can use the URL to see the original page in all its detail. It means that you can just screen capture one important part of the page for an image to post because people can see the rest on archive.today
Nevertheless, you may want to also save the entire page to your hard drive, and copy it to a USB device that you save offline, meaning DISCONNECTED. If you think your personal safety is at risk you can make multiple copies of the USB device and distribute them to friends or trusted 3rd parties for disclosure. You can also store USB devices in a faraday cage, two layers of metal with insulation between.
