I read awhile back somewhere, it was a long time ago and I don't recall where at the moment, but in essence, it is damn near impossible communicating with someone who has an IQ 30+ points lower than you. I have found this to be true in my life.
My IQ is "higher." There some people in my life, average intelligence and below, that I feel like I have talk to them like they're children. Dumb everything down. They don't grasp me in my normal state.
I end up feeling almost drugged. When I talk to someone more my level (and I'm not trying to be arrogant here), it's so wonderful to function on a higher level. A feeling like I'm set free.
