Congress inside trades public companies to get rich. Cant directly trade "CIA Stock". So they have someone set up front companies like FB and Amazon (purchasing behaviors & interests) who get "contracts" and funding using taxpayer money.
Said officials go long before the Gov't funnels money to these companies.
Said officials then go short when they become obsolete like FB has (it's not popular with kids anymore… not cool… only old farts use it… so their incoming users is less and less) and the company gets taken down like you see happening now.
This also insulates the agencies from getting caught with the jig is up. On no, FB sold data???? That's a CRIME! No blame on CIA.
