When SpouseAnon and I were stationed in Germany, hands down one of the most interesting places we ever visited was the KriminalMuseum in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. A crime and punishment museum with all the medieval torture and punishment paraphernalia you could ever imagine. It's so worth a visit if you ever get to southern Germany.
