I'll drop this again but even hydroxychloroquin has an affinity for melanin. It's possible that there is an additional metabolite produced that's of value depending on what drug and who takes it. In other words it's not the primary drug but rather the metabolite that is of value. The primary drug is just a means to an end……….adrenochrome or some other not yet determined biomolecule?

Neuromelanin has been shown to bind neurotoxic and toxic metals that could promote neurodegeneration.[5]

There maybe something else we are missing . It may be that people with a higher melanin content produce more of valuable metabolite than others given the same dosage of a substance … meaning (God forbid) Forced administration of a substance into a host in order to obtain the bio substance wanted.

YES quite possibly. These types of theories can get out of hand but it's something that needs to be considered.
