President Trump commutes the sentence of longtime adviser Roger Stone
The White House confirmed that President Trump commuted the sentence of longtime adviser Roger Stone. Stone, who was convicted of lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering, was sentenced to prison in February. Trump signed an Executive Grant of Clemency just after Stone’s request to delay the start of his prison time was denied by a federal appeals court.
