They are worried about Durham. Lays out a pretty good timeline of reported information on the investigation. Forced to admit they really don't know what is happening outside of DC resistance.

He knows what he is doing is contrary to the rules and traditions of the Justice Department. He knows he is doing reputational harm to people nominally under investigation. He must know that the way he is comporting himself does damage to the department and will make whatever Durham finds more contestable than it otherwise would have been. In short, Barr has acted in ways that foreseeably politicize and damage the investigation that he initiated and has devoted so much time to. The question is: Why?

One possibility is that the evidence Durham has uncovered is objectively so damning that Barr’s commentary cannot delegitimize it. Perhaps, but we doubt it. No matter what problems Durham finds, assuming he finds some, they will be tainted due to the combined behavior of the president (who might not know better and who cannot control himself) and the attorney general (who does know better and can control himself but has chosen not to). If Barr and Durham have an October (or earlier) surprise, Barr’s actions now are diminishing its impact.

Yet again Obama did it too

The outrage mob predictably took the bait. The media ran articles insisting Trump has no authority to cut funding. Democrats ran to microphones claiming Trump doesn’t have the authority to do that. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, for example, said “school reopenings are a state decision. Period. That is the law, and that is the way we’re going to proceed. It’s not up to the president of the United States.”

But Democrats like Cuomo didn’t have any objection the last time a president threatened to withhold federal funding from schools four years ago.

In May of 2016, the Obama administration declared that the Departments of Justice and Education would both “treat a student’s gender identity as the student’s sex for purposes of enforcing Title IX,” and issued a directive to all public school districts in the country to allow students to use the bathrooms matching their “gender identity.”

So, if you are a boy, and you wanted use the girls bathroom, the school had to let you or risk losing Title IX funding. If you were a boy and wanted to get a peak at girls changing in the girls’ locker room, you could claim to identify as a girl and the school would have to oblige or risk losing their Title IX funding. If you were a mediocre player on the boys’ sports team, you could identify as a girl and get to play on their team, and potential crush the competition, and thanks to Barack Obama, the school not wanting to risk losing their Title IX funding, would have to oblige. The New York Times noted that the Obama administration directive “does not have the force of law, but it contains an implicit threat: Schools that do not abide by the Obama administration’s interpretation of the law could face lawsuits or a loss of federal aid.”

Busted by his brother

https://www.theblaze.com/news/macys-attack-video-suspect-arrested-charged

An 18-year-old man, who was charged in an "unprovoked attack" on a Macy's manager in Michigan, was arrested on Thursday night.

Damire Canell Palmer was charged with felony assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder on June 26. The charges stemmed from the vicious June 15 attack on a Macy's employee at the Genesee Valley Center shopping mall in Flint Township.

The physical assault was captured on video and went viral last month. Cellphone video shows the aggressor landing several punches on the 50-year-old Macy's manager, and knocking him to the ground.

There were allegations that the manager, who is white, said a racial slur toward the suspect, who is black. Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said investigators did not find any evidence of the Macy's employee making racial comments or doing anything to provoke the attack.

Palmer's brother, who filmed the video, will likely not be charged since he did not commit any crimes, according to the New York Post.
